Funniest behind-the-scenes story: On The Next Food Network Star, when the contestants went to the Rachael Ray Show, I was setting up for contestant Amy and forgot to put out a kettle of boiling water, a key component of her demonstration. I realized right at the last moment and tried to run out and fix it but the demo had already started. Needless to say, Amy reached the part of her demo with the boiling water and for a second I thought everything was going to fall apart, but luckily Rachael jumped in with her own pot she had on the back stove just in time.
