Year you started at FN: Originally started in 2000 in the web department, left for graduate school in 2004, and then returned in 2007.

Path at FN: Website coordinator and editor and now nutritionist. Before FN, worked at nonprofit Careers Through Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP).

Culinary education/background: Wesleyan University, Institute of Culinary Education, still pursuing a master's degree in nutrition at New York University.

Cuisine you're known for: Baking or anything that involves flour, sugar, eggs and butter.

Favorite food: Chocolate, kale, Parmigiano-Reggiano, pork, black & white cookies

Food you won't go near: Uni, it's the texture and flavor

Culinary inspiration: Traveling, whether it's internationally or domestically, I always discover new ingredients and dishes and new ways to cook and eat.

Favorite show: Barefoot Contessa. Who wouldn't want Ina's lifestyle?

Do you prefer sweet foods or savory: Both.

If you were a condiment, what would you be: Soy sauce and vinegar mixed together.

Funniest behind-the-scenes story: Seeing the Chairman from Iron Chef dress up like Santa.
