Title: Food Stylist

Year you started at FN: 2005

Path at FN: I started freelancing in 2004, then when hired full-time, started as culinary point on Party Line, then Emeril Live, which I have been doing for almost two years.

Culinary education/background: 2 year AOS degree from CIA. I have been working with food in restaurants, catering and styling for 17 years.

Cuisine you're known for: I am trained in classic French technique, but I prefer Italian. And even though it is not a cuisine, I really enjoy learning about cheese.

Favorite food: Pasta or chocolate, maybe cheese

Food you won't go near: Avocados, because I am allergic to them

Culinary inspiration: My mom and dad

Favorite show: Throwdown with Bobby Flay, Iron Chef America, Jeopardy

Do you prefer sweet foods or savory: Sweet

If you were a condiment, what would you be: Vincotto

Funniest behind-the-scenes story: The day Shawn Colvin was a guest at one of the bar tables on Emeril Live and ate too many of the spicy collard greens, which inevitably got caught in her throat when she tried to sing. Not once, not twice, but three times. Or maybe the time on The View when the freezer wouldn't work and I had to store strawberry margarita pops in my freezer three blocks away and had to take them there in a rainstorm. Then when the segment finished, I could not get the strawberry margarita pops back from Meredith Viera.
