Guy's Big Project Ends in a Shocking Reveal with Two New Series
Tune in to new episodes of The Grill Dads and Eat, Sleep, BBQ every week!
When Guy Fieri kicked off Guy's Big Project six weeks ago, all he wanted was to find the next food road show for Food Network. And on last night's finale, he ended up getting that—times two, acutally. In a momentous reveal, both The Grill Dads, Mark Anderson and Ryan Fey — from Idaho and Los Angeles, respectively — as well as Rashad Jones of Florida learned that their concepts had been greenlit by the network and would ultimately move to series.
The Grill Dads, a concept that Mark and Ryan lead with throughout the season on Guy's Big Project, follows the guys as they check out wow-worthy foods at little-known hot spots, all while dishing out their signature commentary and one-of-a-kind dad jokes. On the sneak-peek episode Sunday night, they visited Bacon Bacon in San Francisco, a local jaunt that was opened by a home cook because of his all-encompassing love of bacon. Not only did Mark and Ryan delve into a next-level fried chicken sandwich — with bacon three ways, of course — but they tried deep-fried balls of mac and cheese. In. Dul. Gent. Get set for a whole season of The Grill Dads, airing Fridays at 9:30|8:30c.
Rashad Jones, a lover of true 'cue, brought smoky meats to the party on his new series, Eat, Sleep, BBQ. He too showcased mouthwatering bites from coast to coast, with an emphasis on both classic and creative interpretation of regional barbecue favorites. After checking out a next-level barbecue sandwich deemed El Jefe at Little Miss BBQ in Phoenix, he headed to San Antonio to a spot that serves BBQ Ramen, complete with homemade noodles and succulent brisket. You can catch new episodes of Eat, Sleep, BBQ with Rashad every Saturday at 9|8c.
