Lia Wiedemann

When FoodNetwork.com Senior TV Editor Lia Wiedemann isn't creating large-scale minisites for shows such as The Next Food Network Star and Iron Chef America, she likes to travel abroad, eat her way through her Brooklyn neighborhood (and the rest of New York's four boroughs), and experiment with what her husband calls "complicated recipes." A picky eater as a child, Lia was constantly told "you eat like a bird." That all changed after spending a year in Paris, followed by six months in Brazil. Now Lia revolves her life around when and where she'll eat next and counts bahn mi, chicken tikka masala and moqueca as just a few of her all-time favorite foods. Lia is also a restaurant recommender for all her friends and family and the author of her personal food blog, This Little Piglet.
