Since starting out as a freelance food stylist for on-air TV shows about 10 years ago, Suki Hertz has worked her way through various positions at the Food Network, including recipe developer, nutritionist, culinary editor and now Food and Drinks Editor of FoodNetwork.com. When she's not at work, Suki's true passion is spending time at her house in upstate New York, where she devotes entire weekends to seeking out the freshest local foods and creating memorable meals to revel in the seasons. A committed omnivore who finds joy in braising big meat, Suki is married to a health-conscience pescatarian (fish-eating vegetarian), which results in her throwing lots of parties so she can cook what she really wants.
