Ginger-Soy Marinated Halibut

3 cups of marinade for 4 servi

Ingredients

1/2 cup brown sugar
2 cups soy sauce
1 roasted jalapeno, peeled, deseeded, diced
1 cup chopped cilantro
2 teaspoons chopped ginger
2 teaspoons chopped lemon grass
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons ground black pepper
4 (6-ounce) halibut fillets

Directions

In a large mixing bowl, mix all ingredients. Let
halibut fillets marinate for at least 15 to 20 minutes. Remove halibut from marinade and pat dry with paper
toweling. On a hot grill, cook halibut on both sides until thoroughly cooked. Remove from grill and serve.
