1. Whisk
In a saucepan, whisk milk into a mixture of sugar and cornstarch.

Add egg yolks, zest, and salt, and stir frequently.

Remove mixture from heat when coats the back of a wooden spoon. Add lemon juice and butter.

4. Strain
Strain to ensure a smooth and velvety texture.

5. Pour and refrigerate
Pour into individual serving cups and refrigerate.

6. Garnish
Garnish with candied flowers and whipped cream.
