Very Good Cookies

These cookies are outstanding. Very chocolaty. I didn't add the nuts because I guess I am just not a nutty person. They were a little crumbly which is the only downfall.

I tried making these cookies and they came out dry, bitter, and crumbly. I'm not sure where I went wrong, but I followed the instructions, but left out the espresso b/c I did not have any.

Taste yummy

Love the taste, but putting them onto the cookie sheet is a bit hard. Their appearance is lacking, but that's partially my fault, I'm sure. I substituted instant coffee for the espresso powder; I think the espresso powder would have made them taste even better.

yum yum

I used margerine instead of butter, but ended up with dough that was too runny. I added more flour and ended up with a cakey cookie, perfect for making ice cream sandwhiches!!

Worth making

These are very delicous cookies. The batch described doesn't make a large batch, so I would recommend doubling it. Great for a chocolate fix!

YOU MUST TRY THESE!!!!!

This is the perfect cookie. The batter is quite loose and I was afraid they would spread out while baking and be too thin, but I was surprised at how they kept their form. The recipe is very easy to prepare and the results are quite simply outstanding.

I've made these chocolatey cookies several times and each time they're a hit. The first time I used run-of-the-mill instant coffee and the cookie's flavor really suffered for it. Made with the prescribed brand of espresso powder they're perfect and richly flavored. Terrific recipe!

The short and sweet review: Very Rich, Very Sweet, Very Good. The Longer Review: Really chocolately, but harder to find the expresso powder in smaller towns. But the chocolate is balanced out pretty well.

I was looking for some cookies to make for the holidays; this was one of the recipes I came across. Let's just say that not many people received them as gifts, because I wanted to hoard them! They were incredible! You don't need any other chocolate cookie recipe! This is the best!!!!!

When these cookies came out of the oven, I never thought they would hold up becuase they were so gooey... but once they cooled, they become perfectly moist and delicious chocolate treats. I cut down on the pecans because I don't like a lot of nuts in my cookies. Everyone raved about these. Side note... I made these in Albuquerque which is high altitude. I recommend extending the heating time by 3-4 minutes if cooking at altitude.
