This is a very good recipe, my husband enjoyed it and wants me to make it again. The only thing I changed was the cream I used a cup.

I love this recipe. I feel it does not need anything else. I doubled the recipe and used canned chicken stock (not low salt) and it came out great. I did not add any additional salt. I have a stick blender but decided to use the regular blender, and it came out smooth and creamy. I am bringing it to a party to serve on a buffet, in turkish coffee cups! I will make it again.

I fried a little garlic and onion before I put the mushrooms in. I also added a couple of drops of hot sauce. I made this soup for my husband who proceeded to eat the entire thing in one sitting.I will definitely make it again,even for guests.

I tried this recipe for company and I had no leftovers. I used beef broth instead of chicken and I added 1/2 cup flour while blending the soup in the blender. I also left it a little lumpy so there would be chunks of mushrooms. So easy to make.




good but needed something else...

I really liked the flavors of this soup. Mine came out very thin though. Next time I make this I will decrease the amount of chicken stock and possibly add even more mushrooms. But over all the flavor was really good. Thank you!

I used half of the amount of butter and served with mint instead of chives since I didn't the herb on hand. I bet the soup is super tasty with chives. Also, I put couple drops of lime juice to serve. Too delicious. My family wanted me to cook another pot right after they were done.

Really easy to make. Great flavor. I didn't have any cream on hand so I replaced it with 2% milk (3/4 cup) and it worked great, never missed the cream. I also added a pinch of nutmeg while blending. And I used a variety of mushrooms instead of just one kind, and adding more then what the recipe calls for.

This is quick and easy and the flavor is full and rich. I added a clove of minced garlic and pureed the sauted onion and some of the chopped mushrooms in part of the stock before I put it all together, which made the broth a bit thicker. I will make this often.
