This is a good dish to serve for the family during the holidays. It was quite a bit of work but if you do this once a year, it would be worth it.

Regarding to the "sour-spicy ginger broth" Perhaps, you should modify the recipe by adding chicken broth and season it as you would season a wonton soup.

Too much ginger for this ginger lover. Broth was incredibly sour-spicy from the ginger. Dumplings were ok. Usually we love Emeril's recipes...
