Although it takes a little more time, it is wonderful. It has everything in it for a wonderful, wholesome, satisfing meal. I've received wonderful complements from family and friends.

We loved the great flavors of this hearty stoup! I used the bulk chorizo as I couldn't find the sausage type and it was fabulous! The chicken was very tender and this stoup reheats extremely well (keep the pasta separate!!)

Just Awesome!!!!

The recipe is perfect and we can not get enough!!! We use 1/2 package of fresh chorizo insterad of the salami style because it is more easily availble, and the fresh chorizo extracts much more spice, flavor and color. As for those of you who talk about the chicken being dry, you need to work on your cooking skills. Thank you Rachael, we love it!!!!

kept us warm

I left out the chicken as I find that chicken cutlets get dry very easily but we loved the meatballs and the chorizo and of course the soup (stoup) Barbara-Great Neck

It took much longer than 30 minutes for me to make and it just didn't have the exciting taste I was looking forward to. Rather bland.

My whole family took one bite and refused to eat this. The combination of ingedients was unappetizing.

I was so disappointed. This recipe sounded so good. The only deviation I made was, I slow cooked my beans from scratch (I prefer them over canned). For our taste, this soup was just plain strange. My husband ate all of his, because I had worked so hard on it; I was unable to finish mine. The rest of the soup ended up in my 'garbage bowl'. Also, this was not a 30 min. meal, I was in the kitchen for at least two hours cooking.

Good Soup

My New Years resolution was to try different things and I'm glad I did. I trully enjoyed the soup. I had never tried chorizo sausage,it made the soup. I made a few changes. I put both cloves of garlic in the soup. I made the tomatoe topping & left out the garlic. My husband tells me he doesn't like garlic so I put both garlic cloves in the soup, I could hide it better, he didn't even notice. I used caned tomatoes, it worked out great. I liked the tomatoe taste in the soup but wasn't to crazy about the parsley taste so I picked out the parsley and put all the tomatoes in the soup along with another can of tomatoes. I will make this again and try different vegetables, there is so many ways this soup could be made.

A surprise for me

As I added each ingredient, I was convinced that I wouldn't like this at all. I was wrong! It had really nice flavors going on. If you have the time, prepare it early and let it simmer. I think that helps the flavor get even better. My husband ate two bowls and then finished mine! I guess it's a keeper. Try it!

Well I made this dish for my family as I have done many times b4 with Rachel's recipes and we did NOT like it at all. There were too many different flavors, spices that did not mix well. We think maybe the meatballs were over seasoned or something. This one is not a keeper in my recipe box. But don't worry Rach I have tons of others you have written that we just love.

Good and can change things

Easy to make and delicious! I did find Spanish chorizo, so substituted with 1/2 andoille and 1/2 mexican chorizo, and used deli meatloaf blend as a short cut for the meatballs!

Fabulous
