This recipe was overall good but needed a couple of modificiations. First of all I had to add more butter to the "crust" portion. When I baked it the first time the "crust" stuck to the pan and only set in a few of the cakes. Secondly I wouldn't top the dish with more walnuts, there are so many in there to begin with that its overpowering. Instead do all cakes with red peppers on top, it was much better this way. Also, I didn't get to try this but I wish I had, try using goat cheese that already has chives or other herbs in it, the plain goat cheese was alright but I think the herbs would have made it more flavorful.

I make these every year for Christmas and just made them for a baby shower to rave reviews. I double the recipe and make them in a mini cheesecake pan (with removable bottoms). I also add a little more butter to the crust and I don't put either walnuts or red peppers on the top. They are delicious!
