Easy and yummy

I normally don't consider food that requires making dough and deep frying to be easy, but this one is! They were yummy (they're better warm than cold). I served them with blue cheese dressing, which was good, but would love other suggestions. Good for taking to a pot luck, as an appetizer or snack.

When you have a shared lunch and everyone else brings in chips and cakes they bought from the supermarket, these make quite the impression. Easy to make, the dough provides the perfect counterpoint to the spicy chorizo and people just can't go past the golden crunchy casing. Great cold or hot.

Maybe my sausage wasn't spicy enough. This was too much trouble and way too bland. Needed something else.
