Best Linguine & Clams 11/22/2004 at 01:16pm User: JENNIFER from Santa Ana, CA User Rating: Although this recipe may take some time & prep work, it's definitely worth it. I've made this dish for countless dinner parties and everyone raves about it! I subsituted canned clams (about 3 cans - drained) for fresh and added them to the sauce at the very end. Tasted wonderful and is a great $$ and time saver. Amazing 09/21/2005 at 04:34pm User: CRYSTAL from Bloomindale, GA User Rating: I not even a seafood lover and I went back three times for more! Easy & Delicious! 02/11/2007 at 10:24pm User: Anna from Atlanta, GA User Rating: I NEVER cook and this was my first attempt at a homemade meal. It took me about an hour to chop the ingredients, make the tomato sauce, and combine everything into the clam suace. However, I'm sure it took me longer than expected because I'm such a novice at chopping - once all the ingredients were prepared, it only took me about 20 minutes to combine everything. The linguine tasted delicious! I used a can of drained clams instead of the littlenecks, and it turned out great. It had just the right balance of tomatoes, clams, wine, garlic, etc. I can't wait to make this again! |
