Amazing! 04/26/2008 at 06:09pm User: Anonymous User Rating: This burger was amazing! My husband and I loved it and he didn't miss the beef at all! He said it was the best burger he ever ate! Love, Love, Love These! 04/23/2008 at 11:04pm User: Anonymous User Rating: One of the best burgers I've had! The cucumber salad on top was sublime. Will definitely make these again! My first Turkey Burgers 04/12/2008 at 08:10pm User: Lee from Tucson, AZ User Rating: I made these for the second time today. The first time, I followed the recipe exactly and they were wonderful, but I thought that they needed some salt inside the burger. 1/2 tsp. in the burgers worked. Also, my partner hates ginger and picked up on small amount in the mayo, so this time I left it out. I like ginger, but thought that it didn't suffer without it. Cooking them in the hot peanut oil made a great crust that locked in the moisture. I wouldn't want to try these on a grill. I had never had Turkey Burgers before and when I saw this recipe, it gave me a reason to try them. I'm glad I did. Best Turkey Burger Ever! 04/01/2008 at 10:26am User: Michelle from Canton, MI User Rating: Thank you Julie Anne for such a great recipe! I've been wanting to try this recipe for a little while now and finally did last night. The flavor combination was great. Very moist burger. Without a doubt, best turkey burger I've ever had. Maybe the best burger I've ever had. I wouldn't change a thing. Best Turkey Burger I have had 03/27/2008 at 09:02pm User: DANIELLE from LAKE TAPPS, WA User Rating: I followed the recipe exactly with the exception of the serrano chile in the burger mix(serving little ones). I used dark turkey meat instead of turkey breast, I felt that it would be juicier and It was. My husband ate all of his and half of mine!! The wasabi Mayo and cucmber salad is a MUST for the burger, it just makes it! I grilled these inside on the stove in a grill pan for 6 minutes on the first side and only 4 on the second. I made the burger mix and let it sit in the fridge for about one hour before I fried them up. Juicy, tasty wonderful! Going in my permanant Recipe box file! I bet this would also be great with beef. The burger taste reminds me a little bit of what the inside of a shu mai or chinese dumpling taste like. DE-Licious! brilliant burger 03/26/2008 at 12:50am User: Anonymous User Rating: My family have requested this recipe over and over. Wonderful turkey burger! Best Turkey Burgers ever! 03/25/2008 at 05:15pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I used a little more sesame oil and soy sauce in this recipe than is called for, but not much. This is not only the best turkey burger I've ever had, but one of the best burgers, period. If you like asian flavors, you'll love this!!! Not bad but not great! 03/24/2008 at 12:07pm User: Danielle from Tampa, FL User Rating: The taste of turkey was very overpowering to me but other than that it was a good recipe. The cucumber salad on top was the best part! Awesome 03/16/2008 at 09:30pm User: Beth from San Francisco, CA User Rating: Best turkey burgers ever. The Best Turkey Burger Ever!!! 03/11/2008 at 11:00pm User: Stacey from Austin, TX User Rating: I love the way these burgers stay juicy inside and are crispy outside! The kids loved them and so did the hub! I think we have found our new fave burger recipe! Also loved the cucumber and onion salad! Way to go Julie Anne!!! Outstanding 03/10/2008 at 09:02am User: J from Clarks Summit, PA User Rating: I used 2 Tbsp Thai chili sauce in place of the peppers which gave it a slightly sweet/hot taste. Great burgers!! Great Turkey Burger for the Summer Time 03/09/2008 at 07:42pm User: Sue from Green Bay, WI User Rating: Had tonight for dinner my husband said "This is a good Turkey Burger" I will grill it next time too cold out now. I also would make more of the mayo sauce, did not use the chili could not find in the store, so I used some hot pepper sauce. Will make again. Awesome Burger 03/07/2008 at 09:35pm User: Elizabeth from Concord, CA User Rating: I followed this recipe to the letter and it was absolutely the best turkey burger I have ever had. I have 5 adult children (picky eaters) and they all LOVED it. My 7 year old niece even ate one. I did double the recipe for 8 burgers and the only change that I made was that I BARBEQUED THEM!!!!! They came out fabulous on the grill, and still so incredibly moist and juicy. This will be our favorite burger from now on.!!!!!!!! Delicious 03/06/2008 at 03:43pm User: Stephanie from Tucson, AZ User Rating: This turkey-jasmine burger was SO GOOD; especially with the cucumber/onion mixture! I couldn't find the wasabi powder, so I purchased wasabi mayo and added the ginger to it (it already had lemon in it). I also toned down the wasabi mayo by adding some lite mayo to it (we're not much on spicy foods). This is a winner!!!!!! TGIF lost out on having a great turkey burger on their menu! Best burger I have have had 03/06/2008 at 02:27pm User: Deb from Newington, CT User Rating: I loved this recipe. I made it for my parents and they couldnt believe how great it was! A Keeper! 03/06/2008 at 12:46pm User: Jane from Santa Rosa, CA User Rating: My son tasted these and after downing 2 burgers said, "You could make these again, no problem - how about tomorrow?" They were juicy and tasty. We used store bought wasabi sauce for ease. Next time we'll add another hot pepper because we like a lot of heat. Other than that, no changes. a real winner 03/06/2008 at 12:45pm User: joan from overland park, KS User Rating: saw the show and could not wait to make these... my husband said these were a "keeper". He even went so far as to tell some of our friends whom we went out to dinner with about the fantastic burgers I made during the week. I had picked up Trader Joe's Wasabi mayo on a recent trip to Ohio so had that ready to go. A suggestion when making the burgers, put in the refrig for about an hour, firms them up. Unable to purchase small pkg of Jasmine rice, now own 5 lbs, needless to say I will be looking for more recipes to use it up. Flavor Explosion! 03/06/2008 at 09:10am User: Beth from columbus, OH User Rating: I was so excited to try this recipe after watching the show. I added a pinch of salt since that what the judges said it needed. They were awesome! I have already told several people about the burgers and are going to make them again this weekend. Flavor needs improving 03/03/2008 at 06:02pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I followed the ingredients for this recipe this weekend and although I found the turkey burger juicy and loved the way the outside fried up, I felt it was lacking a lot on flavor. My husband felt the same. Can I give it 10 stars? 03/01/2008 at 06:51pm User: null from null, null User Rating: These were amazing! I second everything everyone has said, including the picky hubby gobbling 'em up with gusto. Who knew he would flip over a turkey burger! Bravo Julie!! Um...Um...Um...don't make no sense... 02/28/2008 at 03:11pm User: Chanel from LAKEWOOD, WA User Rating: This was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo gooooooooooooooooooood. Jewel's Turkey Burger 02/27/2008 at 03:53pm User: kay from Los Angeles, CA User Rating: What a great change from our usual ground meat burger! The flavors were wonderful and I could spice it up for my husband; make it less spicy for the kids. My husband, who is a picky eater and doesn't like a large dinner, had two of these last night. He absolutely loved them and has asked for them again tonight! This recipe is a keeper! Kay Best burger ever - bar none! 02/27/2008 at 11:08am User: Janice from Tempe, AZ User Rating: These were easy to make and tasted amazing. None of the grainy dryness that Turkey burgers usually have. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and all around scrumptious! I tried this one and the winning Ahi burger, and this one was so much better. Julie Anne Rhodes was robbed! (The comments of the judges support my theory too!) Moist & Delicious! 02/26/2008 at 12:08pm User: Tamara from Akron, OH User Rating: These are terrific! They are very moist, and the combination of Asian flavors is outstanding. I subbed a Tablespoon of Thai Chile Sauce for the Thai Chile Pepper since I didn't have one on hand. A winner! Excellent! 02/25/2008 at 06:41pm User: Carolanne from Stafford, VA User Rating: Best burger I have ever had!!! |
