We were looking for a great salsa rice dish and started with this one. We started with this recipe and have modified it a little to better suit us. We use a 15 oz. can of Black beans, 1.25 cups of salsa (a local favorite called Firehouse Salsa), and 1 cup of corn.

This was so easy and so good! I just used one of the whole grain 90 second microwave rice packages from Uncle Bens. Then I added the beans, corn, and salsa. . mixed it up and served! Took about 3 minutes total and was great paired with the jalapeno/onion chicken from this episode!

I wasn't to sure if I would like this recipe, but I actually liked it. I don't care for the cilantro, so I don't know if I will use it next time. I don't like spicy food so this was good, not to spicy. My kids didn't like it and thought it was to spicy. Also, instead of using water with the rice use chicken stock.. MUCH better!

I made this rice today and it was good. I used beef broth instead of the water, you can also use chicken, to add some flavor to it...plain brown rice can be bland. The salsa I used was garlic lime salsa and it gave it a good twist. Thanks, my picky family loved it.

I added more salsa to my rice than called for. All four of us liked it. I had it with tacos. A good casual side dish.

I made this to go with the chicken and peppers from the same episode, and it was very good. I modified the recipe and used brown rice, but it turned out great. I probably added too much cilantro, but it was still very good. We had a good bit left over and reheated it as a side for the island quesadillas. If you anticipate having left overs, don't add the cilantro to the whole bowl, as the fresh cilantro doesn't reheat well later. Just sprinkle it on the individual servings.

This is a quick and easy DELICIOUS recipe. Everyone loved it! I changed the recipe to suit my family. I used brown rice, all organic ingredients and cilantro paste. It was so good and so flavorful. Everyone loved it!
