Finally someone has taken the time to teach the rest of us how to cook scrambled eggs properly. I have seen the episode in which this aired and have successfully created light, fluffy and DELICIOUS eggs. THANK YOU ALTN. Nicholas Carton

Never scrambling again!!

This method of preparing eggs is the best-tasting I've come across. Folding the eggs instead of scrambling them adds a different texture which is highly compatible with the taste buds. Eggs never used to tickle my fancy, but now they very well could be a daily indulgence!

In April of 2004 my two daughters and I were flying on Jet Blue from California to New York, for the first time. We were on a red eye and my daughters were sleeping but I was too excited so I put on my headphones and watched TV. Some guy who I'd never heard of was doing a cooking show about eggs. Since then I've become an Alton Brown fan--I LOVE the recipes, I love to cook but being the curious person I am, I REALLY love the education. I made these scrambled eggs today! What an awesome, delicious way to cook perfect eggs. Today is the first time I've been to the website, I couldn't remember exactly what he said about when to turn the heat high so I logged on to try to find this recipe. Alton, if you're reading this, thank you for your show. I love your personality and will try to watch you on November 11 and see your favorite movies from the past. Hugs!

So THAT'S the way!

TRIED THE RECIPE THIS MORNING AND FOLLOWED THE DIRECTIONS TO A ''T'' AND THE EGGS WERE JUST PERFECT - NOT THE DRIED UP OLD EGGS I USED TO SERVE. THANKS FOR ALL OF THE HINTS.

I haven't made exactly this recipe, but I used the version he publishes in his book, "I'm just here for the FOOD." I'm not sure how different this version is, but I imagine they're similar. If so, they're awesome. Best and EASIEST scrambled eggs I've ever made.

I have learned more from this man than any other. I kenw some people could cook eggs because I have experienced them. But the good professor has exposed their secret. I used to get little hard balls of egg but now i get a luscious, traditional breakfest treat

As pathetic as it sounds, I could never make scrambled eggs. They always came out like a nasty omelet. I watched Good Eats for the first time and I can now make the best scrambled eggs ever. Alton is a God.

Thanks!

After watching this episode, I discovered the mistakes that I made while trying to achieve perfect scrambled eggs. Mine were in a pool of water...but no more! Paula Deen also helped. Alton, how about some pointers on eggs with cheese...a southern favorite.

I have been cooking eggs for 45 years and have just been told how and why eggs should be scrambled this way. Thank you for the great tips and keep them coming. My 14 year old daughter loves your show and is learning so much, yet she doesn't realize she is learning. Thank you Alton. You are a great teacher. Sincerely Pam Acuncius, Castle Rock, Co.
