This was great but note, it takes WAY more than 10 minutes to caramelize onions. They need to be cooked on low heat for 40-50 minutes to really develop the sugars and break them down. I served the onion sauce over roasted asparagus. Thanks!

I've cooked this several times now and I think this is my favorite way to prepare asparagus. Quick, easy, and delicious.

This is such a nice change from asparagus with bernaise. We wanted something a little lighter this time. This recipe was great, really easy, and we got rave reviews from everybody. The caramelized onions gave just the right touch. Will definitely make this again.

This morning when I watched your show, at the very end you splashed on some basalmic vinegar. It isn't listed in the ingredients. Just wondering if you forgot it, or if it was just a last minute add on for the show???
