OH MY WORD!! 07/20/2008 at 12:22am User: Deborah from Bethel Park, PA User Rating: These had to be the BEST burgers EVER! I used ground turkey for mine. I also had a heck of a time trying to find the McCormicks Ginger Teriyaki Mix, so I found a Honey Teriyaki Seasoning mix on the Asian aisle. MMMM MMMM GOOD! I was worried at first, as watching this episode, it looked like these burgers were really watery, and didn't look like they'd hold together (with no binder like bread crumbs either). Even when I made them, they were really kind of soggy, and I thought there was no way that pineapple was going to stay in it, but was pleasantly surprised. I do have to HIGHLY recommend the mayo/wasabi/soy sauce condiment. OH MY WORD does this make the burger! I would highly recommend this!! Enjoy!! MACKIE, BEAUMONT, TEXAS 07/10/2008 at 10:33pm User: MACKIE from BEAUMONT, TX User Rating: THEY WERE WONDERFUL, EVEN BETTER THAN I EXPECTED. EVERYONE LOVED THEM, THEY ARE STILL CALLING ME FOR THE RECIPE...WILL DO AGAIN, AGAIN, AND AGAIN. Easy For Anyone 05/05/2008 at 06:55pm User: Ashley from Palatine, IL User Rating: I made these today and grilled for the first time on my own, they were SO easy and really flavorful. I only had trouble finding the McCormick grill mate so i just used a Teriyaki marinate and followed the instuctions to put it into the meat before grilling. I recommend this recipe highly for anyone looking for something easy and new to make. Tasty 04/16/2008 at 06:58pm User: J from Clarks Summit, PA User Rating: Tasty burgers but a little dry (93/7 beef) and a little salty for my taste (from soup mix?). Used 1 Tbl Teriyaki marinade as suggested by another reviewer. Good idea. good 04/05/2008 at 04:16pm User: JESSICA from Lk. Hopatcong, NJ User Rating: Was a good burger but the sugar from the pinapple slice chared the outside. Very moist and flavorful! Great for the whole Family! 03/29/2008 at 11:42am User: Courtney from Texarkana, TX User Rating: We really enjoyed these burgers. It was a nice change from traditional burgers. Even my 5 year old picky eater loved them. He especially liked the pineapple on top. I did have some trouble finding the Teriyaki Marinade mix, though. Try it with a couple of slices of BACON! 03/24/2008 at 04:45pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Burger is excellent as written, but try it with a couple of bacon slices on top of the pineapple--TO DIE FOR! Terrific Burger 03/22/2008 at 03:19pm User: Melissa from Saint Ann, MO User Rating: I made this recipes but used about 1 tbsp of teriyaki sauce instead of the ginger teriyaki marinade mix. They turned out perfect! New family favorite at my house. |
