So great even if you're not a vegetarian

I absolutely cannot live without chick peas but I am currently watching my weight so I loved Ellie's idea of baking this instead of frying. I saw the other reviewer's comment about them falling apart so I added 1 T of wheat bread crumbs, juice of 1/2 lemon and only used 1/2 T oil. They baked beautifully and can't wait to have them in pita pockets at lunch this week!

This recipe was OK. The felafel fell apart and the tahini sauce was very thick. I would recommend adding more lemon to the sauce.

Loved it

Tasted so much like the felafel from a restaurant. My husband loved it too. Very easy to make. Took me about an hour and did another entree in parallel.

Easy and healthy

An easy, healthy alternative to fried falafel. A little crumbly after they were baked, but the flavor is good. I will definitely make again. Didn't make the tahini sauce because I'm not a huge fan; topped with a little cucumber yogurt sauce instead.
