I should have read the reviews first.Duh. The jello never did jell even though I tried overnight, so the next day I bought more jello and tried it without the kiwi. The jello is tooooo strong (1 cup of water???) and the pudding was only ok. I want to know how Sandra Lee set hers up in a cooler. Someone needs to test this recipe before it is put on this website. What a waste of money that was.

How did the jello set up when Sandra Lee made it? I am very dis-illusioned as I thought these recipes were tested before they were put on the air???!!! I am a firm believer in taste and economics and not just the visionary effect.

Gelatin cannot set up with bromeliads (such as pineapple, kiwi, papaya, figs.) This dessert was a disappointment.

I made this recipe to the letter. Jello didn't set, even left overnight. The pudding was too thick & tasted nothing like cheesecake. This recipe was a waste of time.

not cheesecake, not gelatin, not good -- imparfaits

As usual, another disgusting recipe from the queen of faux food. Made this for a work party, the theme of which was disgusting fauxd from Sandra Lee. This was the second runner-up for being most disgusting.

Kiwi doesn't work in Jello

According to my box of Jello, using kiwi keeps the gelatin from gelling. Perhaps this is why others are having issues?

Me and my kids made this desert this afternoon and it was a mess. Nothing set and it smelled so bad my daughter got the dry heaves. I didn't have no melk to make this desert, so I used powdered instead and that made it even worse. This is not a good recipe for poor people.

Not so good

Made this exactly as recipe stated, with 1 cup of boiling water for the jello, kiwi and bananas, and the jello never set. I even let it sit in the freezer after 2 hours in the fridge. The whole thing was a little too reminescent of cafeteria food for us. Even the kids gave this one 2 stars.
