Good biscuits

I agree with the other review; I also dumped in the milk and was left with dough that was far to gooey to knead. I noticed that the biscuits were rather buttery which did not taste bad but if you are eating whole wheat biscuits you are probably trying to be healthy so it makes sense to decrease the amount of butter you use. Overall, use a little less butter and buttermilk for this recipe.

I loved the recipe, although I had to adjust it a little to form a decent dough. Instead of mixing the milk in a little at a time, I dumped the whole cup of milk into the bowl at once...big mistake! I ended up adding some more whole wheat flour to get a workable dough, and ended up with some awesome biscuits. One other thing, I've seen similar recipes that call for only 1/4 cup of butter, which I'll try next time...a little healthier anyway.
