Easy and delicious change of pace 08/05/2007 at 04:56pm User: Elizabeth from Gainesville, FL User Rating: Made this recipe using the meat from rotisserie chicken from the local supermarket. Served it on sunflower seed bread with lettuce and tomato. Made a great, light summer supper. delicious 08/03/2004 at 11:12am User: JAIME from Williamsville, NY User Rating: I thought this recipe was very simple and delicious. I actually poached boneless, skinless chicken breasts because thats what i had in my house and it turned out great. I made curry chicken salad wraps and will definitely be making it again! WONDERFUL! 07/31/2007 at 12:22am User: Terri from Auburn, WA User Rating: Suitable for casual and formal events alike. My guests LOVED it - so much so that they asked for the recipe! Also keeps well for left-overs. Slight alteration 07/28/2004 at 10:52pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Instead of poaching, I fried my breasts in fresh olive oil, paprika & fresh crushed indian spices and used atleast a heaping tablespoon of hot curry on the chicken once it had cooled! This is very good served inside a toasted pita pocket! Amazing Chicken Salad 07/22/2005 at 10:39am User: DARCI from rochester, MN User Rating: Made this for a party of about 50 people and it was amazing. Everyone wanted to the recipe. I would make this recipe again and again. SO GOOD!!!!!!!!!! after a few alterations 07/21/2007 at 01:39pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I altered the recipe by using my George Foreman, used breasts unstead of thighs, and made the salad into sandwiches and wraps instead of lettuce cups. The salad was so delicious and easy to put together. My friends loved it! Our Favorite!! 06/28/2007 at 03:00pm User: Rick from Woodstock, GA User Rating: Make this all the time. A Hit With The Bunco Group 05/29/2004 at 10:19am User: PAM from Naperville, IL User Rating: Delicious, Everyone in the group loved these. I stuffed some mini pitas with the chicken salad and also put some on endive leaves. I added a lot more raisins and chopped them up. One tablespoon jusst didn't seem to be enough. I'd make this again. So Good! 05/23/2006 at 09:57am User: Anonymous User Rating: What a savory change from routine chicken salad. Doubled the chutney to add a little more zip to it, otherwise followed the recipe as is. Great served in an avacado boat. The flavors really develop well over a few hours or overnight, so it can be made the night before a special lunch. pretty good 02/26/2007 at 03:51pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I doubled the curry and the raisens to get the desired curriness and that was good. Also I added chilli powder to give it a little kick. Very good other wise. This is tasty 02/04/2006 at 10:19am User: Elaine from Miami, FL User Rating: I love curried chicken salad and I always wanted a great recipe. This one is the best. Sometimes to save time, I use chunk all breast meat from three large cans. Taste yummy! Great! 02/04/2005 at 01:27pm User: LINDSAY from Brooklyn, NY User Rating: I make this salad a lot to have for work lunches. I recommend not adding the nuts until serving, as they get soft after a bit. |
