This recipe is great. I'm not a fan of sweet applesauce so this recipe was perfect. I used it to top pork chops (breaded in flour and parmisagn cheese) and it was awesome! My girls really enjoyed it as a side. I highly recomend this recipe!

Best applesauce I have ever tasted. I'll never buy applesauce again, nor will I make any other sauce.

This was Great Applesauce. I made it two different times. First time just like it said on the receipt but I used a variety of apples and Asia pears. Second time I substituted brown sugar for the white sugar, added a TBS pure vanilla, 2 tsp. cinnamon, 1/8 cup lemon juice and ? cup water. After cooking it for the 20 minutes I took out the excess water and that made the best cider. Drank ? and then added it to the mixture when I put it through a food processor. It was nice and thick but very smooth. I think the key is using a variety of apples and a couple of Asian Pears. I garnished with thin slices of Asian Pears.
