This recipe is not as good as the other reviews state. It is OKAY--nothing spectacular. The cream cheese would have been better used as part of the filling along with the guava paste, because it did nothing for the dough. The dough was bland--no wonder it is recommended that you sprinkle sugar on the pastry before baking it--the sugar is what gave it flavor. Disappointing.
