This was a fun recipe that I prepared with the help of my 4 year old. It had several steps he could actually help me do. The end result was rich and tasty. I definately will make this one again.

Both my husband and I thought this was very average. I followed the recipe as written and the tiramisu came out heavy and dry. My search for the perfect tiramisu recipe continues.

I have NEVER tried something so different and had such wonderful results. Tiramisu has always been a favorite of mine and I never imagined it would turn out so GREAT!!!

The lady finger portion of this recipe that is brushed with the coffee/brandy mixture was too strong for me. They were pretty well saturated so maybe I should just used less. BTW I'm not a drinker so some may think this is an excellent balance of flavors. The cream portion however was incredible! Very light, not too eggy. I loved it! I will definitely make this again but probably using less alcohol and a weaker coffee. Thanks Mario! This is much better than the eggier versions I've tried.

The best tiramisu recipe

This is my favorite tiramisu recipe. Unlike other recipes, this one makes clever use of egg whites to lighten up the mascarpone batter. All other recipes use only egg yolks or add cream to the mascarpone making this dessert too heavy and with a strong egg flavor. Not this one. Bravo Mario!

Each ingredient complements the other with out any single one over powering the other.
