They were pretty well saturated so maybe I should just used less. BTW I'm not a drinker so some may think this is an excellent balance of flavors. The cream portion however was incredible! Very light, not too eggy. I loved it! I will definitely make this again but probably using less alcohol and a weaker coffee. Thanks Mario! This is much better than the eggier versions I've tried. Unlike other recipes, this one makes clever use of egg whites to lighten up the mascarpone batter. All other recipes use only egg yolks or add cream to the mascarpone making this dessert too heavy and with a strong egg flavor. Not this one. Bravo Mario!
