This was just delicious and so easy. It was a bit hit at Thanksgiving dinner. I will make it again and again. Just a caution though, watch the time for doneness. One part of the recipe says it cooks for an hour and a half, the bottom part says one hour. It was done in less than an hour, more like 45 minutes.

Absolutely Fabulous!

This pudding is just delicious...and so simple to make too! I made it for Thanksgiving last year and it was such a hit that everyone, and I mean everyone, wanted the recipe! Even people who didn't care for corn liked this dish. Give it a try...I know you'll be pleased! P.S. Even the little ones liked it!!!

I am from the South but I'm living in CA with my husband who is attending post graduate school for the Navy. I was hoping to find some sweet corn pudding for comfort food. I put the effort into this recipe and I'm sorry but there is nothing sweet about it. It was very bland, even with the bacon and nutmeg in it. I halved the recipe since there are only two of us. We ended up adding more salt and pepper which made it tolerable but still not as good as it looked coming out of the oven. I hate to leave bad reviews but this should not be considered a sweet corn pudding recipe. Sorry.

I have used this recipe over the past 2 years at church suppers, family get togethers and it goes fast! At a church Christmas party this year I decided to make quiche instead. Young and old alike said the same thing, "So where's the corn pudding, I was looking forward to that." It's an easy recipe to make large or small batches of and you can easily make changes or additions to it. Great comfort food!
