This recipe can be done with lemons, limes, oranges, grapefruits, strawberries - it works with everything... It is super easy to do, looks beautiful, and is a great after dinner cordial - PERFECT FOR THE HOLIDAYS!!! Makes great gifts too! I made this for the first time last year for Christmas/New Year's and even the non drinkers were getting 3rds! ENJOY!!!!!

i recently followed a food network recipethat called for limoncello in champagne(great idea for an inexpensive champagne!) butthe limoncello at the liquor store was about $30! this is JUST AS GOOD but your out the costof a fifth of vodka and 2 lbs of lemons. great recipe!!!

This was a very simple recipe to follow. There is a well-known italian restaurant chain in my area that is known for their limoncello. My family thought this recipe was better than the chain's.
