Depending on how your bacon is cut (long or short and stubby) this recipe can come out looking silly. For all the work of twisting and skewering, and for all the cooking time (it took much longer than the recipe stated), I think it would have been smarter to just fry it in a pan, or flat in the oven. But no matter how you do it, bacon is always yummy...

A little more trouble than it's worth

The bacon of course tasted good, as bacon always does. However, it took much longer to cook than what it says in the recipe and the ends ended up burning and sticking to the skewer sticks.

ok needs more ingredients

these are the worst instructions. maybe they were just trying to be short & to the point, but it's all so vague. the picture doesn't help clarify either. this might be a fun addition to a brunch, but how do you do it??

Not that easy and stupid

Bacon is good no matter what (not burnt) but doing all that work for something you can just do in a pan was annoying. The pan was a pain in the butt to clean vs. a frying pan. Also it took WAY longer than states in the recipe. I cooked it for almost 35 mins and it wasnt still brown. I had to crack my oven open and put it on broil to brown up the bacon. The trick with the sticks is to soak them in water before you cook. It prevents them from burning. All in all stick to the old fashion way, it easier, quicker, and easy to clean up.
