It's now one of my signature recipe's. People always want me to make this for parties.

The hit of the party!

We had a group of about 25 over and I made this as part of the overall tapas theme. I only picked it as a vegetarian option, and I left out the ham. It was far easier to make than I thought it would be (it is time-consuming though - chopping all the vegies then sauteeing took an hour), but once you get the mushroom filling done it's super quick after that. Anyway, to make a long story short - everyone at the party absolutely loved it. It was the first item gone - I even saw someone running their finger over the platter to pick up the last crumbs! It was absolutely delicious! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to make an impression.

Really good! My first attempt at putting together Tapas -- this was really a hit with all our guests -- a great recipe to add to your tapas menu! It was not difficult at all, the puff pastry was very easy to work with.

This recipe is wonderful and saved the tapas party after the awful paprika glazed ribs!

I love this recipe, the only change I made was to add 1 tablespoon of PickaPeppa Sauce (a kicked up Worcestershire Sauce) and 1 teaspoon of Old Bay Seasoning. Then after I baked them, I sprinkled them with chopped parsley and lemon zest. If you hate chopping like I do, buy a Vidalia Chop Wizzard, I use it every day, it saves hours of boring chopping and no, I don't work for the company :) www.chopwizard.com

This appetizer is not only delicious, but should give one a very satisfying feeling of being a gourmet chef. The filling requires a lot of chopping and dicing, very much a chef?s domain, but since the recipe calls for puff pastry that can be readily purchased, the odds of failing are virtually zero! It taste delicious, the filling can be frozen and used for a second round, and serving this dish will make you look like a veritable gourmet genius!
