Followed the recipe, it was runny and very bland. I didn't like this particular recipe.

A Good Caserole Recipe

It was a good recipe but I wasn't crazy about the ricotta cheese in it. I think next time I used sour cream instead.

Yum!

This recipe is good, but not quite the texture I was hoping for. Tastes great, though, and keeps for a while in the fridge. We had leftovers for several days!

I kicked up the pepper call and added some other spices to this dish but it still came out a little bland.

not too much taste

It was a good recipe but I like dishes with more flavor.

Simply tasty

The only change I made to the recipe was to make it sans mushrooms. It was a big hit around my house.

No "Bam" in this recipe

The ingredients in the recipe looked good on paper but something was ?off?. This is the first time I didn?t care for one of Emeril?s recipes. No flavor, too much spinach.

Like breakfast for dinner

This was pretty good, nothing special -- it's basically a spinach-artichoke dip with eggs. I think it would work better for brunch than for dinner. (If I made it again, I'd turn it into a strata by using bread chunks instead of crumbs.)

Been searching for a recipe for a dish with spinch, mushrooms & artichokes in a cream sauce. I first tasted it at a Wedding Reception in California.

Yummy!

This is a winner! I made it with just a few minor revisions. I used portobella mushrooms in lieu of the button mushrooms, 2% shredded cheese and 2 whole eggs with the equivalent of 4 eggs with egg whites. I will definitely make this again!

A delightful dish

5 Star recipe. Everyone was raving about it at Thanksgiving. They couldn't get enough of it. Absolutely delicious and easy to prepare. Thanks Emeril for another delectable recipe!

I served this dish along side the your Mexican Breakfast Casserole, to our mens group at church. I was a breakfast meeting and I must say, this dish was outstanding. What I loved about it was our wives were the most impressed, the flavor, and texture and ingredients were just perfect. The preparation effort was well worth the result. So in addition to 5 stars you get at least 5 bams and a God richly bless you Emrile. Thank you.

EXCELLENT!!

A bit bland

Being that this was a Emeril recipe, I was a little disappointed. It lacked the flavor I hoped would come from the combination of the ingredients. Add lots of salt at the table. This would be good with bacon (or pancetta for that matter), or even a little prosciutto mixed in!

I took this to a 4th of July Picnic. I can't tell you how many people told me it was wounderful and the ones that could cook ask for the recipe. I spent the next day emailing them the recipe. Thank you for making my day. I love to make people happy with food. I think they know I care Kathy Denver Co.

This was so good, even better than I expected. The only modification I made was to use drained marinated artichoke hearts which added a ton of flavor. I halved the recipe and still had at least 6 servings.

How could ingredients like these yield a blah, disappointing product? I can't figure it out but it did. Even worse the next day. The spinach overpowered the other ingredients.

The Teens Loved It!

Even the ones who hate spinach raved about this casserole. I added extra artichokes to the recipe (personal taste) and the teens didn't realise what was in it, they lapped it up. Warning ... this is incredibly rich, so it will likely serve more than the number indicated if you are serving adults.

Excellent and easy. I made a few changes: I used 7 eggs instaed of 6 and I added 1 cup of milk and a splash of hot sauce to the eggs. I also sauteed the mushrooms with a splash of red wine and included a 1/2 red bell pepper.

crowd pleaser..

I followed the recipe pretty closely. It was made the day before a dinner party and reheated really well with foil over it for about 1/2 an hour on 350. It went great with lamb chops. Didn't go over so well with the kids but I didn't expect it to!! I'd make it again but next time I think I'll leave a little more water in the mushrooms and put them in a layer in the bottem of the pan. Yummy

A Little Too Heavy

User: BONNIE from Santa Ana, CA    User Rating:
This was my first attempt with one of Ermeril's recipes. I did this as a side dish for Easter dinner. t was tasty but too heavy with the vegetables - possibly cut down the amount of spinach, artichoke hearts and mushrooms. I chopped up the artichoke hearts more.

Yum...

Made this dish for the second time day before yesterday, and it is definitely better the day after it is prepared. I will try freezing the leftovers, as one other person has done. First time I prepared it was for a church dinner, and nothing was left to bring home. Definitely a "keeper" recipe.

made this as a side dish for Thanksgiving - everyone loved it. I modified the recipe though - I reduced the eggs to 3 as 6 seems to be too much. Still turned out very good though - thanks!

I made this dish for Thanksgiving this year instead of our traditional stuffed artichokes and it was just out of this world. Everyone loved it and has requested the recipe. I may sound crazy but It's sooo good that I don't want to share the recipe with anyone!

Tasty

This was definitely better the next day. I even froze it, and it was still good. Pretty simple to make, though I thought the artichokes gave it a bitter flavor, maybe I just need to rinse off the salt water better next time. It was a hit with all of my non vegetarian friends, very hearty!

I missed this program, only to see Emeril serving this dish. So I think I missed a few "tricks". I will try making this again and changing how I mix the ingredients together as the spinach, artichoke, cheese misture was hard to get thoroughly mixed. Recipe called for cutting artichoke hearts in quarters -- I might cut them a little smaller.

Terrific
