This looked great and was easy to prepare although it took me much more than 30 minutes. I wasn't fond of sage, but would try it with something else next time.

Once a month for the past 10 yrs my parents have a bbq with friends. I was coming home for the weekend and made this appetizer...it was a hit! Now I've continued the tradition and instead have 'Za' Night (pizZa) night once a month with my friends. I am serving this as an appetizer to our own monthly meal. Can't wait! I know my 20-30 year old friends will love it!

I was a bit skeptical of the sage with the shrimp, but it really worked. The pancetta adds a wonderful note - a little salty without being smoky as well, although I think this would work just fine with regular bacon.

I was sad when I ate the last bite! This is incredibly easy and it makes your mouth happy! My husband loved it as well. The kids prefered to eat the shrimp without the "green stuff", but just as well because we got to eat their extras. So much flavor!

Enjoyed these very much, although since I could not find sliced pancetta I used proscuito instead. I think it would be better with pancetta.
