My Family and I had tried another pork burger recipe and it was pretty good, but this one took the grill! The burger was sooo juicy and flavorfull! The acidity in the slaw was an awesome contrast! The sauce for basting was simple but a great finishing touch!
Always a winner!

Made these last night for the Labor Day cookout. Impressed friends with the taste and the uniqueness of pork burgers. They were moist and tasty...sauce yummy!

I didn't find ground pork at the grocery so I took a pork sirloin roast & ground it myself. Gotta tell ya, I'm grinding all my meats from now on. You know what's in there & it tastes great! All you do is cut in 2" or 3" chunks & pulse a few times in your food processor or blender. Easy!! The barbecue sauce would go great with any type of meat. I plan on using the left overs with chicken next. Why buy store bought when this is so good? The slaw has a nice light taste, not too heavy with dressing. We did put some on the burgers but think it is better as a side dish. The only thing I did different was use red cabbage & added a bit of zest from the lemon. You have a hit here. Thanks

Excellent burger, BBQ sauce is excellent and can be used for many other dishes. Was a bit worried that the coleslaw was going to be too tart but it was a perfect balance to the sweetness of the BBQ sauce. A definate re-do for our family!

The slaw is great, the burgers are very good also - but make sure to go a little heavy on the bread crumbs and light on the sauce (at least in my case) - or the burgers may break up some on the grill. The bbq sauce is also very good - it is sweet, not hot. Add some Cayenne or more hot sauce to make it hotter.

These a fabulous as "mini" burgers 2 1/2 inches wide by 1 inch thick, served on Kings Hawaiian Sweetbread Dinner Rolls.

I loved it and gave it 5 stars, but my husband thought it was more of a four star recipe. He is more of a beef guy. I'm going to try it at our anual grill'n for God contest and see how well it does. Thanks
