I made this the other night and I must say I was excited to try steak with a different rub then what I usually use. I was very disappointed. It tasted almost exactly like my Chili does. If I want Chili, I will make chili next time. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because it was tender.

First made this with RR's cornbread for Valentines, then put it in the regular rotation. Flavorful, but not so spicy it burns...

This was a simple meal to make. The steaks were tender and the seasoning make them mouth watering. I can't say enough about the mexican salad, it was so good I shared it at work and everyone raved about the fresh taste and how healthy it was for you. With the cornbread it was a meal that won't soon be forgotten, thanks Rachel!

I have prepared this dinner numerous times! As a gourmet cook with recipes in books, newspapers, and magazines...I just knew that this was a keeper. For aditional comments; I BBQ'd both sliced beef tenderloins and chicken at the same time and include warm tortillas. For the corn squares, I substituted chopped jalapeno's for the frozen corn kernels. I also included black beans seasoned with hot salsa. Plate all this up and serve with salsa, sour cream, guacamole, and fresh lime slices. Wow, what a dinner. Just add a few margarita's and you're an instant hit!
