The sauce is the best

This was the first dish I cooked by Rachael and I was very pleased. It is true what everyone said about the sauce; it was extremely tasty and gave a nice kick to the fish. I had to make a few minor changes with it though. For example, I used canned regular diced tomatoes and I drained the juice, replacing it with the lime juice. I also left out the olives, used regular white onions and just chopped a few pieces, then cooked them in the saucepan before adding everything else (to warm up; we don't like cold sauces). Even my sister loved this meal, and she hates fish.

Spicy!

I just loved the combination of spices in this recipe. I must've made this a dozen times, it works on almost any kind of white fish (I tried catfish, tilapia, and snapper). Tasted good every time. I don't like olives, so i just top the fish with tomato based salsa. Highly recommend it!

resturant quality but easy prep

I am always looking for fish recipes. I don't care for fish that tastes "fishy", this recipe allows the flavor in the fish and the seasonings to mingle without being too spicy. My 4 year old as well as my husband throughly enjoyed this. My husband even said that it was a dish he would have expected from a high quality resturant. I also enjoy the fact that the preparation was so easy and fast.

This dish is one of the best dishes I've ever made it was very easy and my family loves it too. I made the salsa without the crushed red peppers.

Great change of pace for a fish dish. The red snapper was expensive but the compliments were well worth the it...Enjoy!

We all just loved the salsa. It really made the dish. If it were not for the salsa I probably would have rated the fish dish with only 3 stars.

The preparation could not get any simpler! The green olive salsa gives the dish some "kick." You will not be disappointed with this quick meal.

This is a great, quick dish for just a night at home, or entertaining. The salsa is a great side item and I plan on using it for other dishes as well. A great change from pico di gallo.

Although I cook other types of fish regularly, I have never made snapper before. The recipe was easy and very good. I will definitely add this to my menu rotation.
