Maybe it was me - but these biscuits came out like tasteless hockeypucks! And on Thanksgiving... will make sure to keep in my recipe box to make sure I don't repeat.

This was an easy to follow and delicious biscuit recipe. I simply doubled it to provide enough for 12 people at Thanksgiving. Everyone loved them. Very flavorful, light and fluffy inside and a soft crust outside. You can't go wrong with this one.

This recipe was a snap to make. Nothing could be easier. I was always intimidated by the idea of making buttermilk biscuits from scratch, but these turned out beautifully. Everyone in the family loved them and asked for them again and again.

Great flavor & easy recipe. I increased the recipe by 50% which made 11 generous round biscuits. I didn't bother with the milk wash because I like biscuits with flour on top. Also, I mix dry ingredients in processor, then add Crisco in chunks & process. I then dump in a bowl & gentle add milk, then knead gently a few times. They come out tender every time.
