simple and good 06/24/2008 at 02:19pm User: Anonymous User Rating: very nice recipe, tasty and easy to make Really good.. 04/20/2007 at 03:30am User: Amanda from Cerritos, CA User Rating: I used curry powder instead of curry paste, and I'm guessing that makes a huge difference. It was still incredibly good. The yogurt keeps the chicken so moist. I might try it with different curry.. or even a "paste" next time, just to see if there was a difference. But still really good. I'm thinking of making this as a 'flatbread chicken sandwich" kinda thing. Excellent! 05/08/2006 at 11:00am User: Natalie Marie from Miramar, FL User Rating: This recipe was fun to make and it was delicious. The flavors were all exotic, not what one is used to, but a thrilling adventure. I loved preparing it and I loved eating it. Good but a bit bland 11/13/2005 at 03:50pm User: jeannene from Denver, CO User Rating: This was decent but not quite as spicy as we like our indian food. This took us quite a bit longer than 30 minutes to make (but we aren't Rachael of course!) All together a delicious meal! 08/01/2005 at 08:14pm User: Karen from Fogelsville, PA User Rating: The combination of the chicken tikka and the tomato chutney was fantastic. I haven't been to India, but I did get to love Indian takeout when I lived in London. As separate dishes, these are good, but together, they are superb. Keep up the good work, Rachel! Good But Messy 07/01/2005 at 10:06am User: Anonymous User Rating: This tasted good, but it was messy to make. Tasty chicken! 06/21/2005 at 04:10pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I only made the chicken. Served it with some grilled tomatoes and my homemade naan. It was good, but the flavor was pretty mild. My tikka curry paste had a recipe that involved a much stronger curry-to-yogurt blend. Next time I may add more curry paste and less yogurt. I found there was way more sauce than I needed anyway! Good and Easy! 06/21/2005 at 11:58am User: C from Mobile, AL User Rating: I loved this recipe. It was flavorful and easy for a novice cook. I found that this recipe was a little more labor intensive than Rachel's other meals with the slicing the chicken, skewering the meating, and transfering from pot to pot. Still, the results were worth the effort. Something Fun and Different 06/12/2005 at 07:29pm User: katie from juneau, AK User Rating: This meal was easy to make. The bold flavors were great. We had a lot of chutney left over. Next time I'll cut the recipe for it in half. Fast and Easy 04/14/2005 at 09:16pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I love Indian food and now I can make it at home! good but messy 04/12/2005 at 06:59pm User: dawn from huntington, NY User Rating: The chicken was really good - not too spicy for my 10 yr old as I was expecting. We usually substitute chx thighs because breasts are so bland but this is one recipe that would probably be great for breasts - even tho the thighs were great. My problem with this recipe was that it is so messy! The yogurt sauce got all over the place and splattered like crazy while cooking. Will try to make this on the OUTDOOR grill next time - so I don't have to do this huge grease fighting clean-up after dinner. Yummy! 04/12/2005 at 09:03am User: KATIE from Providence, RI User Rating: This was wonderful! I used hot curry paste because we like heat, and the tomato chutney was wonderful (be very careful to let the pan cool alot before toasting the coriander seeds, we had to leave the kitchen and turn on the fan!) My family really enjoyed this meal. I highly Recommend It! 04/11/2005 at 04:50pm User: NANCY from Los Angeles, CA User Rating: Wonderful! Very easy, light and healthy. I highly recommend it. spices galore 04/09/2005 at 03:11pm User: Brooke from Mariposa, CA User Rating: This recipe just has explosive flavors in each and every bite. It is not spicy hot, just spicy delicious. It was easy to make but takes more than 30 minutes to make because the water for the potatoes takes time to boil unless you have a magic kitchen. Everyone in my family loved the dish. How easy was that? 04/07/2005 at 10:56pm User: Brenda from Henderson, NV User Rating: I find this recipe so easy and delicious for a being such a stylish dish and an India dish at that, it's really unbelievable. Thanks Rachael Ray. |
