We love this awesome chicken recipe, and just keep comin' back to it. It is so aromatic, that the mere smell of jamaican spices gives my husband and I the urge to make this recipe ONE MORE TIME. It is time intensive, so make enough to last through a whole weekend!

This was very good. I think I would have used fewer tortilla ( Emeril used three or four as did I ).

Very tasty. You can also use breasts if someone in your family doesn't like thighs or legs.

Fantastic!

This was Great! The only thing I did different was I put the Grilled Sweet potatos on the grill a 1/2 hour before putting the chicken on the grill and then I just kept them both there until the chicken was done (did not use the oven at all). It was great and the sauce would be terrific on ANYTHING!!!!!

great just as a grill rub

Very nice. I just used the rub -- skipped the sauce. I started the gas grill on medium high to get the grill marks for three minutes on each side, and then lowered to medium for the rest of the cooking right on the grill. Chicken was done in about 20 minutes after the initial 6 minutes, including a large breast on the bone.

OMIGOSH - the BEST!

Made this for Memorial Day BBQ and it was OUTSTANDING! I was attracted to the recipe because it did not involve standing over the grill forever. Just char both sides of the chic and then cook in the oven; while chicken is in the oven, put the Sweet Potato Grill on the grill at the same time. Juiciest, most flavorable chicken I have ever grilled and so easy! Great entertaining recipe.

I made this recipe for the first time the other night, and it blew my guests away. It was so awesome. It is well worth the time. My friends are still talking about it.

Not what I expected

This chicken was not at all what I was expecting. It was too too salty, and it took way longer than 3 minutes per side to get grill marks on my chicken. I'm a pretty good cook, and followed the directions carefully. It was actually better the next day. Because I'd doubled the spice rub recipe (I was expecting people over, then that did'nt pan out- Thank God) I had a lot of it left, which I turned into barbeque sauce. My family loved it!! I'll probably never buy barbeque sauce again!!

Delicious!

I loved the peanut crust on the chicken. Even my non meat loving 2 1/2 year old loved it. I cut the cayenne quite a bit for his sake. It is rather sweet with the brown sugar. That turned my husband off. So, my son and I had plenty! The sauce was very good on the quinoa and vegies we had with it.

Delicious!

Hard to make, but worthwhile

Short review: I got very confused making this dish, and it took forever to clean up the grill (which gets covered in peanut stuff). However, it was very good. I haven't really tasted anything like it, but it certainly was satisfying. Give it a try; you will not be disappointed.

Great Rub..

For a more crusted feel to the chicken, you can use bigger pieces of peanut or substitute pecans for a slightly different flavor. Works well with baked chicken as well, just be sure not to let it dry out in the oven.

Fantastic!

This is very simple to make..and very delicious. I served this to 4 guests and got rave reviews! I personally did not think that the peanut sauce was needed.
