A family favorite 07/06/2008 at 09:00pm User: Lynn from Morgantown, WV User Rating: I've made this so many times because we all love it. Very easy. A friend made with another pasta but I have to say the soft orzo really makes this dish smooth and tasty. So easy for a crowd. Quick, easy and good 07/01/2008 at 04:14pm User: Maryanne from Oak Park, IL User Rating: Loved this recipe, but next time I would use 1/2 - 3/4 l orzo instead of the full pound. Real Italian Cooking 08/26/2007 at 11:24am User: Tracey from Oakton, VA User Rating: Friends raved about this dish. Yummy! 07/11/2007 at 08:44pm User: Alma from Mesa, AZ User Rating: Even my 1 year old ate it...it does have a little kick but if she can handle it so can you. Great googly moogly this was tasty 02/24/2007 at 10:34pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I feel like saying I'll never eat anything but this casserole again. Absolutely out of this world, and not too hard to make if you buy frozen shrimp like I did. I live near a bunch of Asian markets, so I found a 1 1/2 pound bag of medium, shelled, no-head shrimp for about 6 bucks. I ran some hot water over them and the shells peeled off like a dream (watch TV or something to keep your eyes from glazing over). I doubled the red pepper flakes because I like spice and Bulgarian feta it is the *best*--sophisticated,depth--it lends it all. Warning: I like the occasional salt lick, but if you are on a low salt diet, baby this ain't for you. Otherwise: Love. It. Easy and delicious 02/16/2007 at 06:38pm User: Rose from Winona, MN User Rating: A new twist on pasta ... it was a big hit at a "bring a dish" party. Easy and flavorful 12/12/2006 at 05:10pm User: Anonymous User Rating: This was very good. Even better the next day. Lots of flavor going on. My family can't get enough. They like it better than spaghetti. A Definite Favorite! 10/13/2006 at 12:39pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I was nervous about making this because of the Feta cheese...my boyfriend is picky. We both loved it! I added a bit more crushed red pepper than suggested, and it was a hit in my house! Light and Tasty 08/24/2006 at 08:31pm User: Terry from Talofofo, GU User Rating: Really loved the flavor of the dish. Substitued the water with chicken stock. Perfect for a hot tropical day! Crowd Pleaser 07/27/2006 at 01:25pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I took this dish to a gourmet potluck and it was a hit! A Keeper! 04/14/2006 at 12:43pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I have been making this for about a year and a half now. My boyfriend asks for it all the time! It is sssssssoooooooo good. I add more wine, about 5x the amount of red pepper flakes, and don't use olives. A favorite! Delicious 03/23/2006 at 05:52pm User: debora from peoria, AZ User Rating: I made this for a neighborhood potluck and everyone loved it - even my husband who does not care for feta cheese- it was a definite hit! very good 03/19/2006 at 06:47pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I didn't have kalamati olives - so I used black olives instead. This was so easy and really very tasty. I will definitely make it again. Simple Please 01/17/2006 at 05:15pm User: AMY from Landenberg, PA User Rating: This was so yummy. I added about 2 cups of fresh torn baby spinach leaves to add some color and used a reduced fat feta-definitely a keeper excellent - but jazzed it up 09/05/2005 at 01:09pm User: DEENA from Cottonwood, AZ User Rating: Our garden is full of various types of bell peppers, so I added three peppers cut in strips, 1/2 of a serano chili - and a handfull of fresh herbs. The canned tomatoes were the diced tomatoes with basil and oregano. This recipe is definately a keeper, my husband and dad loved it too. Really good! 10/05/2004 at 05:47pm User: SHANA from Detroit, MI User Rating: Nice and different loved it! FABULOUS! 08/30/2004 at 09:13pm User: KATIE from Kernersville, NC User Rating: This dish was absolutely excellent! The white wine is a wonderful addition and the baking at the end makes this dish taste so juicy. I made a little change to my first time making this. My husband is a big bow-tie pasta fan and asked that I use bow-tie instead of orzo. It was fabulous! One of the best pasta dishes I've ever made. Definitely a 5+ in rating!!! Wonderful! 06/27/2004 at 09:49pm User: NANCEY from Elk Grove, CA User Rating: I've made this recipe a few times and it is always great & always impresses your guests! The only hard work involved is peeling the shrimp. I love it! |
