This was okay but not great. My husband liked it better than me...I thought it was sort of bland. For turkey leftovers I liked Giadas turkey with marinara better...or even a sandwich. Probably wouldnt make again.

A super quick and easy meal !

What a great way to use leftovers. I was so impressed with how this Chili turned out even though I used Chicken instead of Turkey. One thing to consider is the hot sauce you use. I used Tobasco(R) but believe a Texas style hot sauce would have yielded a sweeter yet equally hot flavor. (But even then that depends on your preferences.) Thanks Rachael ! You rock ! - Matt in Milton, VT

My grandma and mom really enjoyed this dish. However, I'm not a fan of chili, so it wasn't to my liking. If you're a fan of chili, and want to try a little something different. I recommend this dish.

I normally don't even like chili, but I figured that maybe making one myself might change my mind. Well, I figured right! I substituted the leftover turkey for a package of ground turkey, and it was STILL amazing. I loved the sweetness of the corn... I used all the spices that the recipe called for, and though I was scared--because I'm a VERY big wimp when it comes to spiciness(I was wincing the whole time I was chopping up the jalapeno), the result was tasteful and delicious! In fact, my fingers are burning(even now) more than my mouth is. I will definitely make this for my boyfriend, who is a HUGE chili fan. I'm going to try adding red beans next time. Thank you Rachael Ray~

i really liked this recipe. it is one that you can get it going and do other things. there is not much preparation because you do it all as you go. it was a little two spicy for me but that i always something that can be adjusted. i did not add the corn either and i used ham instead but it was still good. i really like the time it took to make it. it was the perfect amount of time.

My fiancee is a picky eater and does not like veggies, so this chili was a great way to use up the Thanksgiving leftovers and get him to eat some veggies! I didn't add as much broth as to make it thicker, and I used 1/4c hot salsa instead of the jalapeno and hot sauce. I also addded a can of kidney beans, it was really good, with lots of good chili flavor!

What a great way to use up all my Thanksgiving leftovers -- and super fast on back-to-work evening. I love the change of flavors from the "traditional" leftovers I've been having all weekend. Look for fire-roasted crushed tomatoes -- they give an extra hint of smokey flavor and don't have the acidic tang of regular crushed tomatoes. makes for a richer chili!

I found the recipe easy to make. I had to double the recipe because I have a teenage football player and a husband who loves to eat. The recipe was a little spicy for my little one so added a little cheese, sour cream and cooked up some tortilla strips. It instantly turned into the best tasting tortilla soup. Thanks Rachael , it was delicious. I watch your show everyday but this was the first time I ever tried one of the recipes. It took me a little longer than 30 minutes, since I'm not a big fan of cooking but I think I will now.

Awesome chili!

I made this chili tonight after deciding it would be a great way to use up the last of my Thanksgiving turkey. I read all the reviews before I printed the recipe to give me some insight and some ideas to add or change the recipe for myself and my families taste. This chili dish is simply delicious! My husband and daughter both loved it also. I added some black beans after reading some of the comments and because I love black beans with corn. This dish is so easy and a nice change from my usual beef and bean chili that I make in my crock pot. Try this recipe and tweak it for your own taste, you will not be dissapointed. Rachel has a winner with this dish!!

It was nice to have a recipe that uses leftover cooked turkey, chicken, etc. with a spicy taste. I used leftover rotisserie chicken. Added a lot of hot sauce (we like spicy!). Also, instead of the scallions, I used fresh cilantro. Great with tortilla chips. Definately make again. Thanks Racheal! Another great one.

I made this with leftover crock pot turkey breast. It was awesome and super easy to do. Even my mom & dad who are SUPER picky eaters had seconds. I used the fire roasted tomatoes with garlic. They were yummy and had less acid. I also used a very small jalapeno. I removed the ribs and the seeds from the jalapeno. It gave it a nice flavor but very little heat. This will become a regular at our house.

User: SEAN from WASHINGTON, DC    User Rating:
I knew Rachael would have a good 30 minute chili recipe and this one sure delivered. While chili is something that always benefits from long slow cooking in say a crockpot or the oven, I wanted dinner quick and this certainly delivered. I made mine with ground bison beer instead of the turkey and chicken stock and added a few touches from Tyler Florence (e.g. a chopped square of baking chocolate to make it smooth plus a little cinnamon). I think of chili as the quintessential new world food, especially in recipes like this that use corn, tomatoes, chili peppers, and in my case, chocolate. Chili recipes are definitely a jumping off point for combining great healthy things, so I added beans and chipotles in adobo and would like to try with hominy in place of the corn next time. A total winner though, just be sure to season as you go, especially with the salt. And I can't believe Ms. Ray has a recipe like this with no garlic! I added a few minced cloves at the end thinking I'd missed something, but now I see garlic is not even in the recipe!

I made this recipe a couple times and was really careful about how much spice I put in. After a while though, I took Rachael's "eyeball it" to heart and took a chance. Wow! It's a great dish to begin with, but not being stingy on the spices really made it fantastic.

User: RACHEL from Mechanicsville, MD    User Rating:
This isn't my favorite RR recipe. I thought this was a little bland and needed a little more flavor. I added some beans to the soup and tried to spice it up. I will probably try this again when I have turkey leftovers but will try doctoring it up a bit.

I first used this recipe for my out-of-town family and then I took it to work for a party. There were no leftovers! It's a great recipe for left over turkey, but it's also good enough to buy a turkey just for the recipe. It's easy to make and can be adjusted for people's taste, e.g. my Southern relatives added their own pepper sauce and their children enjoyed it without the additional sauce.

I saw the 30 Minute Meals episode where Rachael made this - it was right before Thanksgiving and I was intrigued because I'm a huge fan of chili! Well, this certainly didn't disappoint! And Rachael was right - you can use up your leftover crudite! Friends saw the same episode and were very excited when I invited them over to share it. They were equally pleased. It reheated well and could easily be thinned with just water. It was a truly wonderful recipe - easy to make, great use of leftovers, and very delicious, as well as healthy! I'm even thinking about buying a turkey just I can make more!! Thanks, Rachael and Food Network!

One thing that may have affected the dish was my use of frozen sweet corn instead of regular corn. It did give the chili an odd flavor - but still, something was missing. Very easy recipe though, and quick to make.
