easy on the seasoning salt 11/24/2004 at 11:50pm User: INGRID from Corona, CA User Rating: Made your warm potato salad recipe.Everyhting was fine and smelled great till I added the 2 tablespoons of seasoning salt.It was way too much salt.I tried to save it by adding some sour cream but the flavor of the seasoning salt was just too strong.I think I will try the recipe again but this time I'll use a teaspoon at a time of the seasoning salt and see how it tastes.I wonder if there was a misprint in the recipe. Awsome 11/18/2005 at 10:50pm User: Anonymous User Rating: My husband won't eat any other kind of potato salad after eating this one. SOOO GOOD and Creamy! 11/08/2004 at 05:57pm User: SALLIE from Gainesville, GA User Rating: This is the best potato salad, and yes it is best at room temp right after making it, but equally good the next day after the flavors have meshed. It is just great, I even used Hellmanns Lite mayo and Lite Sour Cream, omitted the green peppers and it was awesome. Gave out the recipe to FOUR of my ten guests! Easy on the salt 11/07/2004 at 10:36am User: TERESA from greenville, SC User Rating: Great recipe but the 2 tablespoons of seasoning salt has got to be a mistake. Way to much. It was so good we tried to eat it anyway. I'll try 2 tsps next time. Outstanding! 10/27/2004 at 06:28pm User: JANET from Newport Newa, VA User Rating: I made this for company to go with my Fried Pork Tenderloin sandwiches and it was a hit! Everyone agreed it was a wonderful change from the mayo laden potatoe salads most everyone fixes for a pot luck lunch. It's a keeper *fer sure*!! Incredible!!! 10/22/2007 at 09:26pm User: Brenda from San Antonio, TX User Rating: Loved this potato salad!!! Everyone requests it at our family BBQ's! Thanks Paula... NIDRA from Aloha, OR User Rating: I'm a 42 year old married mother of three. I have never been able to make potato salad, either to much of this or not enough of that. This recipe was perfect. Thank you so much. THE BEST!! 10/08/2006 at 04:05pm User: Tracy from West Union, SC User Rating: I made this for a barbeque and was disappointed when there wasn't any left to take back home. Then I doubled the recipe next time and it was almost gone again. Be sure to have plenty of potatoes, the dressing will cover alot and go easy on the seasoning salt. This is a keeper! Awesome! 09/02/2004 at 11:38am User: JENNY from Wayne, PA User Rating: I served this recipe to my family and new in-laws and it was a hit with everyone. Its a fresh twist on the same old mayo potato salad. Its delicious and just as tasty as leftovers. I am basically a "new" cook to the kitchen and this was not too difficult to make -- the hardest part was ensuring all the potatos were thoroughly cooked when I doubled the recipe. Enjoy! Mighty Fine! 08/31/2005 at 06:19pm User: Stephen from Hot Springs, AR User Rating: This is my Wifes' favorite. Warm or cold, fresh or a day or two in the 'fridge, just outstanding! SWEET [ GOOD] 08/18/2006 at 11:50am User: PRINCESS from MARIETTA, GA User Rating: VERY DIFFERENT BEING WARM Good Change of Pace 08/02/2004 at 07:21pm User: TRISH from toms river, NJ User Rating: I wasn't thrilled with this, however my family gave it good reviews. I thought it was a touch bland and a bit dry. The warm potatoes really soaked up the dressing. I'll probably make it again sometime and add more sour cream, definately a bit more dijon for flavor. Good 07/26/2007 at 10:02am User: Anonymous User Rating: It is very good and Paula knows her stuff when making food. You must use the right seasoning salt 07/10/2007 at 03:33pm User: KIMBERLY from Quartz Hill, CA User Rating: For those who said this was too salty, it is if you use Lawry's seasoning salt or maybe some others. Jane's Crazy Mixed Up Salt isn't overly salty. If you stick to this brand, then the recipe is perfect. Smashing! 07/10/2005 at 01:33pm User: NANCY from Sacramento, CA User Rating: Perfect with barbecued chicken and corn on the cob hot off the grill. Pimentoes added a splash of color. I used 1 tsp. regular salt and it was perfect. The red potatoes were great. We'll use this many times! Delicious! 07/08/2004 at 07:34pm User: Anonymous User Rating: The best potato salad I have ever eaten. It was that good. Paula's right -- it definitely tasted better warm than cold. It was delicious and my guests raved. The flavor reminded me of baked potatoes with all the toppings. It was good the next day, but it is definitely better when warm. I also use 2 teaspoons of salt vs 2 tablespoons listed. Leaves Me With A Smile 06/03/2005 at 08:38am User: Debra from Phenix City, AL User Rating: This recipe was GREAT. As with all of Paula's recipes I have tried, this one also leaves me with a smile. Thanks to Paula for great recipes and a awesome show. Something to talk about! 05/31/2006 at 12:28pm User: Pamla from Memphis, TN User Rating: I tried this recipe for memorial day 2006. It was a hit. My family loved it! It was very simple to prepare and the first time that we never peeled the red potatoes before boiling. The season salt make this recipe a kicker. I highly recommend it for large family functions. This was a hit! 05/31/2005 at 03:42pm User: ALISON from East Petersburg, PA User Rating: Definitely only 2 tsp. of seasoning salt - thanks for the suggestion. Couldn't find Jane's crazy salt, but did find that Lawry's has a "hot salt" that really jumped up the favor, forgot to put the pepper in but it was still great, will be making it again for sure. Sarah, Omaha Ne Wonderful!! 05/01/2007 at 01:18pm User: Jennifer from East Hampton, CT User Rating: Super tasty and very good. This was a huge hit at our cookout. The only recommendation I would make would be to not add all the salt to it and taste it - add more later if you need it. The leftovers seemed to get even saltier so be especially careful if you're making this ahead. new favorite 05/01/2006 at 04:44pm User: Julia from Dover, DE User Rating: This was so good that even members of my family who have sworn off of potatos chowed down on this one!!!! Everything else was good. I added sugar to kill the salt but no avail. Tasty 04/29/2005 at 11:57am User: LINDA from Harrodsburg, KY User Rating: This is so near my own recipe with the exception of pimento and lemon-pepper seasoning. Strange what a couple new ingredients can do to an old stand-by recipe. A new twist and well worth it! Did I tell you Paula, I traced my family 'roots' back to Georgia? No wonder I love your cooking. It will be a staple for all our BBQ's and picnics!!! Excellent 03/03/2005 at 04:50am User: STEPHANIE from Mill Creek, WA User Rating: Excellent potato (and egg) salad recipe.
