Easy AND Delicious

I had both leftover rice and rotisserie chicken, so I decided to try this recipe with the added chicken. I used more carrots and peas than the the recipe called for--I think you could add whatever vegetables you like, and it would be great. I thought the amount of fresh ginger was perfect. I am going to try this with shrimp next time I make it.

Yum-o!

Excellent! I used Uncle Ben's 2 cup "boil in bag" rice (2 bags). Perfect for two. Served with Pork Tonkatsu and garlic green beans!

Better than take-out

I have made this several times and it just keeps getting better. Don't over-do the ginger...I've made that mistake. You could even take it out completely if you wanted. My 4 year old son helps me make it...and then he devours it! It's very quick, inexpensive and easy...what more can you ask for? You could add chicken, shrimp, beef...whatever. This is a keeper in my cookbook. If you can't find Tamari, just use soy sauce. YumO!

I've made this dish multiple times for my family. My husband doesn't like fried rice at restaurants but he loves this recipe. I add more eggs, BBQ pork, 1/2 a small onion, frozen corn, and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.

Great fried rice -so easy. This recipe will be made often.Iadded 3 eggs instead of two because that is my 4 yr olds fav part.i also added a splash of sesame oil and some white pepper.also, i cooked the rice early in the day, cooled it to room temperature, and then refrigerated it until dinnertime-it saved me time and it came out wonderful! My son told me to write Rachel and tell her that her rice is good.He even ate the veggies, including bell peppers(which he never eats).i make alot of Asian dishes and usually accompany them with jasmine rice and this is a nice alternitive fo a change-family fav-try it you will like it!

Make sure to sure fresh ginger- if it's the dry kind, you don't taste it much at all.

My hubby loves Chinese... he was so excited :-) It turned out great! I also added some chopped onion, diced cooked chicken, and frozen corn. Made a great colorful meal! They sell a great minced ginger in a small jar. Ginger adds great flavor, don't skip it!

made this to accompany Sesame Chicken Salad. It seems to be a fairly typical fried rice recipe. It was very good and with some added chicken it could be a meal on its own.

This was quite yummy and it tasted as good as any fried rice I've had from a restaurant. I made it along with Ellie Krieger's stir fried cabbage and it was a fun and simple vegetarian meal.

So easy!

This recipe couldn't be easier or tastier. I think that it's the best fried rice I've ever had and it took virtually no time or effort to make. The garlic and ginger are the key ingredients. I was generous with the amount of vegetables that I put in so that it would be a bit more nutritious and I've been eating for days for leftovers!

Yummy!

I was hoping for a better result but found this to have way too much tamari, it was overly salty. Good for method though, if you wanted to mess around with it. Also, I didnt use the fresh cooked rice, I had some leftover which I always thought was the way to do it so its a bit dried out.

Super easy for leftover rice (and tasty too!)

I love Japanese restaurants, mainly for the fried rice. I've been craving it, so I decided I would just try to make it myself with this recipe. It was fabulous! I left out the red peppers, and used 1/2 cup vidalia onion instead of green onion (to make it more like my favorite Japanese place), and it truely tasted just as good. My husband was impressed as well. This one is definitlely a keeper!
