this tasted really good. but i got tired of it real quick because it's so rich and sweet. my husband really liked it. he gives it a 5 because he said it satisfies his sweet tooth since it's so sweet and compares it to being as sweet as the snickers bar? i compare it more to a pecan praline flavored cheesecake. the best part is the whipping cream w/ toffee bits. so yummy. as for the other reviewer who was asking...mine turned out sort of like a fudglike brownie that's been in the fridge...texture wise only of course. didn't turn out anything close to a biscotti.

This was so easy to make and it was really tasty. My only complaint is that it's a little to sweet. I'd recommend serving pieces that are on the smaller side. Otherwise, great dessert!

I made this for a Thanksgiving dessert and it turned out great. I wasn't sure about the whipcream maintaining its fluff, but it really made this dish. The toffy bits were so good in the whip cream too. I do think that the crust could be a little sweeter so I'll try adding some brown sugar to it next time. But overall really yummy!!

This is a wonderful dessert. The combinations of all the ingredients is delightful. Don't skimp on the real whipped cream, it won't be the same with store bought. As always Paula comes through again.

This is one of the best desserts I've ever had. If you love shortbread and nuts, then you are going to love this one. The fresh whipped cream really makes this dish so don't skimp - use the real thing. Makes a great summer dessert!

No question, the taste of this dish is really oustanding, but i'm wondering about the texture of the base. Should it be sort of cookie like (similar to a shortbread), or a more dense heavy texture. Mine turned out the latter and although was good, i can't help wondering if perhaps it was possibly underdone. I didn't try it before refrigerating it, so maybe that had something to do with it. If anyone has any input i would appreciate it.

This was a scrumptious dish that everyone enjoyed. Better eat them all as soon as you can. They don't hold up long in the refrigerator! The whipped cream is a delightful contrast to the shortbread texture. Toffee bits make it extra special!
