Great Dish 12/23/2007 at 10:10am User: Anonymous User Rating: Great taste to this dish; although there are many ingredients, a lot are staples that most people already have in their kitchens. So easy to make, people will think you are a professional chef w/this dish. Definitely recommend to anyone that likes a basil dish. Very tasty!!! 12/19/2005 at 03:40pm User: James from Mount Airy, NC User Rating: This was my first time cooking thai food and I really enjoyed the different type of flavors. I will definitely make this again. Light On The Peppers 12/17/2007 at 02:42pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I dislike peppers, so I made mine without however for my boyfriend I added all the peppers as he loves spicy/hot foods, We both adored this dish. I also added peanut butter to give it a slightly nutty flavor. I've made this many times now and family and friends and it's always a hit, it is great for BBQ's too, being cooked over the fire gives it a different little flavor! Very Good 11/30/2007 at 10:08am User: James from Cumberland, MD User Rating: I made this last night for my family and everyone really enjoyed it. It is easy and quick to prepare. Everyone enjoyed the heat of the Peppers balanced with the refreshing coolness of the fresh mint. Yummy! 11/29/2006 at 01:36pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I added about 3 tablespoons of peanut butter to the oil, and put in only half a jalepeno. Just like someone suggested. It turned out awesome! I was even amazed that I made something so tasty! I will make this dish again, and again, and again! Spectacular 11/16/2006 at 08:36pm User: Brandy from Glenn Heights, TX User Rating: This is a wonderful dish, I have entertained with this dish and it was a hit everytime. Even for the most picky eaters, they could not deny the different burst of flavors in your mouth at one time. Quick, Wasy, Good! 11/12/2006 at 11:45pm User: Ryan from Federal Way, WA User Rating: We've made this a few times now. We typically get home late from work and this is a quick dinner we can count on. YUM-O 11/03/2005 at 06:37pm User: Tracy from Sterling, VI User Rating: Very tasty, lots of flavor and just enough heat. I will try making it with scallops next. I also omitted the mint. Loved it! 10/26/2005 at 05:02pm User: LORI from Grand Rapids, MI User Rating: This was wonderful. My husband and I both enjoyed it very much. It was pretty spicy but very flavorful. I didn't have the mint, but it still was great. This will be a "go-to" recipe. This is a keeper 10/21/2006 at 08:32pm User: P from Ocala, FL User Rating: You'd never know this is a reduced calorie receipe!! I used chicken instead of shrimp & added chopped scallions with the basil & lime juice at the end. A little minty 10/14/2006 at 05:22pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I thought this was very good and would definitely make it again. However, I don't know if I would use the mint. The quantity stated was too much to handle, especially with the basil, I thought I was going to choke. But besides that the flavors were wonderful. THE BEST 10/09/2006 at 09:23pm User: SONYA from LA QUINTA, CA User Rating: this is as good as i have tasted in thailand itself. and to top it off it is slimmed down!! the restaurant in thailand was not slimmed down and this tasted better. will keep this one and make it over and over!! YUM YUM, Healthy and Good 09/27/2006 at 01:18am User: Astrid from Santa Monica, CA User Rating: Delicious and so easy. I had all the ingredients at home except for the brown sugar which I substituted with a little bit of honey (to taste) and made it just a bit more spice too. Also, I cut the oil amount in half by adding it little by little. The mint and basil add some much flavor! My husband loved it too. I will definitely make again and again. I like the scallop idea, I?ll try that next too. Thank you. Delicious 09/11/2006 at 10:46pm User: Amy from Berwyn, IL User Rating: You wouldn't have any idea this was healthy unless someone told you. Delicious, savary taste. I suggest serving over clear Thai noodles. Absolutely fabulous and won a ton of praise! Outstanding 08/20/2006 at 04:48pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Light and great tasting. Could even hold back more on the oil if you wanted if you have a nonstick pan. I didn't use the mint and it was great. Yummy Thai Shrimp 08/13/2004 at 11:52am User: Anonymous User Rating: Recipe was quick, easy and incredibly flavorful. Had all the flavors of real Thai food! Yum!! Excellent 08/08/2007 at 01:50pm User: Shurawl from Hopewell Junction, NY User Rating: I just made this last night and my whole family loved it. A quick cook as well, highly recommended! Thai Shrimp Stir-Fry with Tomatoes and Basil 07/24/2006 at 06:54pm User: Carol from Spring Hill, FL User Rating: Delicious, my husband liked it, ate all left in the pan--and he usually doesn't care much for thai food. The preparation time was a bit tedious, chopping, grating, etc., and keeping all ingredients separate until cooking. Actual cook time very quick! Absolutely Fabulous!!!! 07/19/2006 at 01:56pm User: Shannon from Jacksonville, FL User Rating: This is a recipe worth making. The only changes I made were reducing the heat factors by half because I wasn't sure how hot it would turn out. The family enjoyed it very much. Now I know I can use the full serving of heat factors wich I will certainately do next time. The Jasmine rice is a great serve. I wouldn't use any other rice. Too much heat not enopugh flavor! 07/19/2005 at 10:46am User: Anonymous User Rating: Too much heat and not enough flavor for me! Simply Delicious 07/10/2005 at 12:06pm User: TANYA from Philadelphia, PA User Rating: This recipe is delicious. The taste is so authentic. Valentine's Day Sucess! 03/02/2006 at 01:05pm User: Anonymous User Rating: My boyfriend and I decided to make this dish for V-day and it turned out wonderful. Both of us like spicy foods, and if you tend toward the higher suggested quantities of the spicy ingredients, this dish can have a real bite to it. I didn't even realize til later that this dish was "slimmed." You definately lose no flavor in this one. Also, when we were shopping for the ingredients, the stores near us didn't have any basil, so we substituted cilantro, which actually worked out quite well. And, as an added bonus, if you have a bit left over the next day it tastes pretty tasty cold as well. easy yet delicious 02/27/2006 at 05:31pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Great tasting dish. The fresh herbs make it very different. So good!! 02/26/2005 at 12:11pm User: Anonymous User Rating: My inlawss went nuts over this meal! Very flavorful! You would never guess it is low calorie. WONDERFUL 01/25/2006 at 12:51pm User: sylvia from newburgh, NY User Rating: ENJOYED THIS RECEIPE VERY MUCH... A little oyster sauce makes all the difference 01/21/2006 at 03:54pm User: Spud from San Francisco, CA User Rating: Changed around the quantities a bit: 2 Tablespoons fish sauce, 4 tablespoons brown sugar, and added 1 teaspoon oyster sauce. Boil some rice noodles and stir fry them in, and you have an amazing noodle dish! Excellent! 01/17/2008 at 11:14pm User: Anne from Alpharetta, GA User Rating: Made this the other night for dinner and loved every bite. Will make again soon. awesome! 01/16/2007 at 09:07am User: missy from overland park, KS User Rating: We made this the way the recipe calls, and it was great. Then we had a craving for the flavor, and pulled what we had left in the fridge together: we added thinly sliced pork loins(leftovers), out of fresh basil, used dry, and didn't have fresh japs, so added konriko all purpose jalapeno seasoning, and it was awesome! we will make it the second way from here on out!
