Great taste to this dish; although there are many ingredients, a lot are staples that most people already have in their kitchens. So easy to make, people will think you are a professional chef w/this dish. Definitely recommend to anyone that likes a basil dish.

I dislike peppers, so I made mine without however for my boyfriend I added all the peppers as he loves spicy/hot foods, We both adored this dish. I also added peanut butter to give it a slightly nutty flavor. I've made this many times now and family and friends and it's always a hit, it is great for BBQ's too, being cooked over the fire gives it a different little flavor!

I made this last night for my family and everyone really enjoyed it. It is easy and quick to prepare. Everyone enjoyed the heat of the Peppers balanced with the refreshing coolness of the fresh mint.

I added about 3 tablespoons of peanut butter to the oil, and put in only half a jalepeno. Just like someone suggested. It turned out awesome! I was even amazed that I made something so tasty! I will make this dish again, and again, and again!

This is a wonderful dish, I have entertained with this dish and it was a hit everytime. Even for the most picky eaters, they could not deny the different burst of flavors in your mouth at one time.

This was wonderful. My husband and I both enjoyed it very much. It was pretty spicy but very flavorful. I didn't have the mint, but it still was great. This will be a "go-to" recipe.

You'd never know this is a reduced calorie receipe!! I used chicken instead of shrimp & added chopped scallions with the basil & lime juice at the end.

I thought this was very good and would definitely make it again. However, I don't know if I would use the mint. The quantity stated was too much to handle, especially with the basil, I thought I was going to choke. But besides that the flavors were wonderful.

this is as good as i have tasted in thailand itself. and to top it off it is slimmed down!! the restaurant in thailand was not slimmed down and this tasted better. will keep this one and make it over and over!!

Delicious and so easy. I had all the ingredients at home except for the brown sugar which I substituted with a little bit of honey (to taste) and made it just a bit more spice too. Also, I cut the oil amount in half by adding it little by little. The mint and basil add some much flavor! My husband loved it too. I will definitely make again and again. I like the scallop idea, I?ll try that next too. Thank you.

You wouldn't have any idea this was healthy unless someone told you. Delicious, savary taste. I suggest serving over clear Thai noodles. Absolutely fabulous and won a ton of praise!

Light and great tasting. Could even hold back more on the oil if you wanted if you have a nonstick pan. I didn't use the mint and it was great.

I just made this last night and my whole family loved it. It really tased like the Thai cusine I've only had in restaurants. I couldn;t find fish sauce in my supermarket but the dish was excellent without it. I did add celery to the dish an dit was great. This dish will be one of our regulars.

Delicious, my husband liked it, ate all left in the pan--and he usually doesn't care much for thai food. The preparation time was a bit tedious, chopping, grating, etc., and keeping all ingredients separate until cooking. Actual cook time very quick!

This is a recipe worth making. The only changes I made were reducing the heat factors by half because I wasn't sure how hot it would turn out. The family enjoyed it very much. Now I know I can use the full serving of heat factors wich I will certainately do next time. The Jasmine rice is a great serve. I wouldn't use any other rice.

This was a great, flavorful, healthy meal. I also substituted the brown sugar with honey. By mistake, I forgot the lime juice and to be honest - I didn't miss it. There are so many flavors in this dish and they all work together!

My boyfriend and I decided to make this dish for V-day and it turned out wonderful. Both of us like spicy foods, and if you tend toward the higher suggested quantities of the spicy ingredients, this dish can have a real bite to it. I didn't even realize til later that this dish was "slimmed." You definately lose no flavor in this one. Also, when we were shopping for the ingredients, the stores near us didn't have any basil, so we substituted cilantro, which actually worked out quite well. And, as an added bonus, if you have a bit left over the next day it tastes pretty tasty cold as well.

Changed around the quantities a bit: 2 Tablespoons fish sauce, 4 tablespoons brown sugar, and added 1 teaspoon oyster sauce. Boil some rice noodles and stir fry them in, and you have an amazing noodle dish!

We made this the way the recipe calls, and it was great. Then we had a craving for the flavor, and pulled what we had left in the fridge together: we added thinly sliced pork loins(leftovers), out of fresh basil, used dry, and didn't have fresh japs, so added konriko all purpose jalapeno seasoning, and it was awesome! we will make it the second way from here on out!
