This was a delicious and easy method to prepare Brussels sprouts. We grow an abundance of them, and I was very happy to find this tasty method that let the natural flavor come through, and looks and smells great as it cooks.

I never thought I'd say this about Brussels Sprouts but these were absolutely delicious. The nice thing though is that they are also easy to prepare. I adjusted the roasting time to about one hour because I cooked them at 325 while I was roasting my turkey. They came out really tender and the serving plate was empty when everybody was done.

Yummy, even if you don't like brussel sprouts...

So the brussel sprouts I purchased weren't the best...a little bitter even before cooking them, AND I cooked them a few minutes too long as the were a little too black on the outside, but this recipe is still a winner. They were pretty darned good and I don't like brussel sprouts all that much. I'm giving it a 5 because I can't fault Ina for user error!! I would cook them only 35 minutes for average sprouts and try to find some fresh, young ones for optimal flavor. I'm even going to serve these for Thanksgiving this year!! Shake the pan a few times while cooking as the recipe states. VERY easy!

When it comes to any kind of green vegetable, my husband is not easy to please. When he started asking for these again and again, I knew I had him. I LOVE brussel sprouts anyway, but this will convince even the non-brussel sprout eaters out there. Thank you Ina. You are AWESOME!!!

Steamed brussels sprouts...good but ordinary taste. "These" Brussels Sprouts--roasted with evoo and sea salt-take sprouts to another flavor floor...and I do mean the penhouse level.

After I saw this recipe and read the other reviews, I tried it last night, a huge feat for me since I have ALWAYS hated brussel sprouts all my life(YUKK!!!!). However, I took a chance and made them and they were awesome!!! They smelled great and tasted even better! Definitely a brussel sprout lover, at least with this recipe!!

Or at least I did until I tried this recipe. Easy to make, very flavorful without the bitterness I have often experienced with this vegetable. My husband loves Brussel Sprouts and really enjoyed this version. The dish looks good too, nice and darkly crispy outside with a lighter softer inside. I will be making Brussel Sprouts much more often.

This is one of the simplest and tastiest recipies for Brussels Sprouts I've tried. My daughters, who have only recently been willing to try new flavors, enjoyed them, too. Much better than boiled sprouts you may have had growing up. They did take about 40 min. Next time I'll start them first so they'll be ready when everything else is.

Good way to cook....

I have been looking for a way to make brussel sprouts so that they aren't soggy and tasteless and this is it. They came out just perfect and we roasted all of our veggies with the sprouts and it worked for all of them. I will never boil or steam again. Roasting just brings out the flavor of your vegetables.

Excellent Taste!

This the first time I roasted fresh brussels... sure taste better than the frozen ones, but yet frozen ones are just as good to use too... but I think I'm hooked on the fresh ones. This dish turned out excellent and soooo good!!!

This was a very easy recipe. I would cut the roasting time by 5-10 minutes as the outer leaves were a bit burnt. It was still very good.

This was easy and very tasty as advertised. Do watch the sprouts at the end of the cook time so as not to burn them. I burned mine slightly, but they still were quite excellent. The comparison to french fries is accurate. We liked these a lot. Definite winner, thank you Ina.
