I've only ever been a fan on chocolate milkshakes....not anymore! YUM! and SO EASY! The vanilla and sugar make all the difference in the world! I made this for my daughter but used fat-free frozen yogurt and 2%milk and added 2extra tbs of sugar and some frozen strawberries...world's best strawberry shake was in our kitchen that day!...drinking one now...guilt-free! Thanks Paula!

SCRUMPTIOUS

This is a super vanilla milkshake. Thank you Paula Deen! Instead of regular sugar, I used sugar I infused with a vanilla bean a few days earlier; vanilla sugar. I also used a quality vanilla ice cream (Breyers Natural Vanilla). Mmmmmm....good!

Best ever

Seriously the best vanilla milkshakes I ever had. I used not quite the amount of milk suggested and it came out nice and thick. Can't wait for the summer so I can make these more often.

Believe it!

I thought this milkshake recipe was extremely tasty and delicious. I have a sweet tooth so I didn't mind the large amount of sugar the recipe asks for but I can see how the sugar can be overpowering. If you use only 25% of the sugar ingredient or no sugar, it should taste just as good or better.

Th best milk shake ever.

This milkshake was awesome. I only had enough stuff on hand to make 1/4 of the recipe but I made a low sugar version for my husband and he loved it. I used Splenda & Hood Calorie Countdown for an awsome (1-3 grams of sugar per seving)vanilla milkshake. Having the correct ratio 4-2 or 4-1 if you want a thicker shake, plus the vanilla & sugar or splenda is the perfect combination. My kids are now home from camp so I think I will make some tonight with added chocolate & starberry. Thanks, Paula!!

I decided to look one up here and let me tell you, for having it done in 2 mins it taste just as great if not better than a milkshake from a ice cream shop. Delecious! Im definately making this more often and even making it my own by adding fruits every once in a while. Thanks Paula!!

This milkshake is the best I've tasted! Make sure that you take the time to really grind the sugar or it will be kind of gritty.

This is an awsome shake!! It makes 2 big ones, so i wil drink one like a milkshake, and I'll freeze the other. When it's completely frozen its got a crunchy, icey feel, like homemade icecream. Try it sometime! It's excellent.

Paula, this was the best milk shake I have ever tasted. I cut the recipe in half and drank the whole thing myself. It was so creamy and could be very addictive. However, I did cut down on the amount of sugar and used Splenda instead and also used only half of the vanilla. Yummy, Yummy, Yummy! You did it again, Paula....Fantastic!!!!

I'm in college, but my best friend and I still do "Sleep Overs." It's a quality time thing to veg out and watch movies and be girls. For the last one, I made these shakes for us. AWESOME!! Tastes just like a Macdonald's vanilla shake (if you like those). My only tip would be to make sure you use really good vanilla extract because it really is what makes the shake. I suggest adding chocolate syrup or something like strawberry nesquick to change the flavor. As to the sizing, we cut the recipe in half and that was just perfect for two people. ENJOY

A Delicious Treat!

I recomend not adding as much sugar as the recipe calls for, unless you want your milkshake really sweet.

Tasty but a little too sugary

It was very tasty, but I would decrease the sugar if you are using a premium French vanilla ice cream.
