I made this recipe for my husband and we both loved it! It was an unexpected blend of flavors that was perfect. I didn't have Parmeggiano Reaggiano so I just sprinkled a little grated Parmeggian on top and it was to die for! A must try!

It passed the husband test. I used spring mix salad that contained some arugula. Arugula was hard to find. I also used some roasted garlic balsamic dressing(from a BC winery, Yum!) in place of the dressing ingredients.

Easy, had for a dinner party; good balance of flavors; we dried the steaks for a couple days and I/we believe that method made the steaks more flavorful; served with sliced beefsteak tomaotes and mozzarella cheese with fresh basil and balsamic vinegar.

This was certainly edible and we love every single one of the parts of this recipe, just not together. The steak was cold by the time it was added, and the dressing mixed with the drippings was good... but steak salad just didnt do it for us. My husband removed all the arugula back to the serving bowl and ate the steak and the peppers. Balsamic marinated chicken on spinach or arugula salad with bacon goes together much better than this does.

excellente!

This was my very first meal to prepare from Giada's show "Everyday Italian". It was absolutely delicious! The best part about it -- it was easy to prepare. I highly recommend this dish to all you Italian food lovers. It's light and fresh with the spiciness of the arugula and red peppers, yet it satisfies any meat lovers appetite. The dish not only tasted great it looked beautiful. I took several pictures of my accomplishment. I was so proud!

So flavorful, and so easy to do. A good summer alternative to my winter one-pot meals. I only had white balsamic vinegar, but I'm sure it would be great with the usual variety. Devoured by a picky husband... Will definitely add to my go-to recipes. Thanks so much, Giada.

When I first made this, I'd mistakenly received some arugula in a box of vegtables from a local farmer's market. I'd never eaten arugula and wasn't sure what to do with, but thanks to this and other recipes I've found on Food Network and foodnetwork.com, it's quickly become one of my favorite greens. I've made this particular recipe several times since discovering it, once using seeded, roasted jalapenos instead of roasted red peppers, and it still got raves. This is one of those recipes making the rounds among family and friends. Thanks.

I'm not great in the kitchen but I thought I would take a shot at this after watching the episode. My husband came back from Iraq and I made this for him. I was so excited I even made extra and it only took minutes! I took an extra plate to my neigbors and from that point on, I am not allowed to bring any food over since it is too good. The steak was tender and flavorful and the simple presentation made it look so delightful. I am now pretending to enjoy my kitchen and attempting many new recipes! Thanks!

The grocery I went to did not have bulk arugala, so I got some nice spring mix and a small package of arugala. It was perfect. This is a great quick and light dinner. It will definitely be a regular. Make sure and add the drippings to the dressing-it really makes the dish.

Great summer dish! EASY! And husband LOVED it!

This dish is so easy and quick to make! And above all, it is now one of my husband's favorite dishes! One vital thing I added though was sliced AVOCADO, which goes perfectly with the dish! Also, instead of just arugula I used mixed baby greens (lettuce, chard, arugula, mustard greens, etc), and I used 1 canned roasted red pepper and one whole sauteed red pepper since I love peppers. It is a great summer dish and it goes great with a rose wine. You have to try this dish... You will think you are dining in a four star restaurant!

This is a wonderful, easy recipe. Use a good rib eye steak, and grill the red pepper yourself. You'll be rewarded. I grilled my steak outside, and let it rest on a board, as directed. The salad dressing, already delciious, was greatly enhanced by the addition of the steak drippings. A must try!

Very Good

I couldn't find arugala, so I substituted a good baby lettuce blend. I found the recipe in Giada's cookbook, which instructed to cook the steaks over medium-high heat. 5 minutes wasn't really enough over medium-high; the meat ended up pretty rare. Next time I'll make sure the oil is very hot... the roasted red peppers are delicious with the steak, and the dressing with the meat juices is wonderful. I'll plan to make this whenever rib-eyes are on sale.

Since I had to let it rest for 10 min., my husband said it was to cold for him. Overall, it is VERY VERY easy and looks great and the platehttp://images.foodnetwork.com/webfood/images/myrecipebox/rate_and_review.gif Rate and Review

I actually got this recipe from Giada's book, but wanted to review it here. It was great. I also used her recipe for roasted bell peppers, but you could probably use store bought ones. But with some planning, you can roast your own. I did think there was was too much red pepper called for given the arugula was only three cups, but you can adjust that to taste and preference. Arugula is strong and the dressing was delicious with it. It cut some of the tang of the arugula just enough to make the whole mix perfect. Use a good cut of beef, or the recipe will be a disaster. I served this with Ina Garten's French String Beans and put the beans in the searing pan for the steak to heat them up before putting over the vegetables. This pulled the entire meal together and it was a perfect dinner.
