I've tried several different chicken piccata recipes and my husband and I both agree this was the best so far. The only thing I did differently was add a little white wine to the sauce and some mushrooms. Will be making this again!

I live in the Italian section of Boston, so I love this dish. This turned out to be too tart with the lemons, and much too buttery, I even cut it in half.

It was easy to make with ingredients kept on hand but next time I will go with less lemon juice, less oil or butter and probably use tenders. They were too big even with butterflying. The lemon overwhelmed the sauce and it was too oily.

I really enjoyed this recipe! I love capers and I love lemon (even though this was a bit much for me). I also used the suggestion of half the oil, half butter, and a teeny bit less lemon (although my boyfriend thought it could've been even less). I used chicken tenders as well. It was quite delicious, and I'll make it often with even less lemon.

I doubled this recipe last night to serve to company and still have some leftovers for today. It was simple to make using ingredients I already had except the capers. My company loved it so much, I had to print out a copy for them! Although I felt that I was using a lot of oil and butter the end result was not oily in any way, and the sauce really did thicken with that last addition of butter (which I almost forgot).

I just made this tonight and I am already gettting requests for me to make it again. This was so simple and easy - and with ingredients I always have on hand. I think it actually turned out better than some piccata dishes I have had in restaurants. Simply excellent.

I made this last night and it was so good! I was tempted to dredge in bread crumbs before cooking as I was afraid that just the flour would make for unintersting chicken. I'm so glad that I didn't. The chicken was just crisp enough on the outside and SO juicy and tender on the inside. Will definately cook again!

I was at the gym today and saw this recipe (as an aside, did you ever notice how usually men are watching sports and women are watching the Food Network while working out? Says something about our motivation for being there...) Anyway, the hardest part about this recipe for me was thawing the chicken! I served it up with a spinach salad with champange dressing (from another Food recipe) and I was beside myself. I am surprised that anyone would give this less than a 5 star rating.

I love this recipe! My family has said that this is better than they've eaten in restaurants. It's so easy and tastes great. My sister doesn't like capers, and the recipe works fine without them. I usually try to double the amount of sauce with this, though, because it tastes perfect over angel hair pasta. This recipe is included in Giada's cookbook too, which I would also highly recommend.

This dish is incredibly easy to prepare and tastes wonderful. After reading other reviews first, I did reduce the amount of lemon used, but also added some white wine to the mix. It was fantastic. Next time to vary it, i may try some mushrooms and artichokes too.

My only change is that I used a little white wine to deglaze the pan, and then added the lemon juice. Adds just a bit more depth of flavor. The capers MAKE this dish -- they are so good with the sauce. I've made this both with and without dredging the chicken in flour, and I prefer the with flour method.

This is my first time making anything piccata (how is that possible?), and I must say it is zesty and satisfying. My whole family loved it. I will defiantely make it again. However, I found once the wine and lemon had cooked down the sauce was really strong. I mellowed it out with some water, thickened it a bit and finished it will a touch fat-free half & half. Perfect! Plated on top of angel hair pasta and broccoli. Yum

I saw this on an episode and requested that my boyfriend make this for a dinner. I came home, and the house smelled wonderful. But man, I can't begin to tell you how surprised at how good this turned out! I have tried a few of Giada's recipes and they have been hit or miss, but this one was by far, the best we have tried since. My boyfriend made no adjustments to the recipe at all, and I couldn't stop raving after each bite.

LOVE this recipe! My husband and I make this meal once a month tTOGETHER on a Sunday and love it! We use Smart Balance light butter and we use less butter and oil than the recipe requires. We also make enough for leftovers using four boneless/skinless breasts!! We love it!

This was really good! I was a bit suprised by the tartness of the lemon at first, but I've never had real chicken piccata before. Next time I may start with just a little lemon juice and gradually add more to taste. Very delicious and makes a beautiful presentation.

This recipe was terrific and so easy! The sauce was light and perfect. The flavor of the lemon subtly flavored the sauce. I paired this dish with a side of simple Risotto and green peas. This would be a recipe to show off to dinner guests. Yum!

My husband was on a low cholesterol diet for a while. He's finally lowered it, so I made him this easy recipe. Of course I substituted Smart Balance butter for cooking/frying and he loved it! I doctored it up a bit because he's also a vegetarian, so I used a meat substitute (prepared wheat gluten) in his meal. I also added mushrooms and fresh parsley, and used mushroom juice instead of chicken stock. Red beans and rice as a side. Tasty!

I do agree with the other reviewers that one could cut back a little on the lemon but overall this was a super easy dish that everyone loved. I will make it again with a little less lemon juice.

I have made this dish numerous times with rave reviews. It is very easy to make and is one of my husband's favorites! I have made it for guests and they raved, thinking I really had a way with cooking! I sided it with Giada's baked penne and roasted vegetables recipe and wow! what a meal! Definitely recommend this for family meals or for entertaining.

The title just about says it all, as this recipe was simple, went together very quickly and had the entire family raving. Have made this twice now, the second time substituting white wine for the chicken broth -- which seemed to cut the acidity of the lemon a little better. I cannot lie - I made this recipe from memory of the TV show and added roasted red peppers (MADE IT SIMPLY YUMMY). After I had bought the jarred peppers I looked up the recipe and found it had non -oh well, I had them I added them and it gave a sweet taste to the otherwise salty dish. Served this over Pasta and will definitely make this one again. GIADA ROCKS!!! Generally have her ingredients on hand or they are not hard to come by. A+++++++++ rating on this recipe!

Okay, I totally LOVED this! First of all, I had lots of plain chicken breasts in the freezer and had no creative ways to use them up (I often just put Italian bread crumbs on them, bake them and call it a day!). This was perfect...simple, inexpensive and done in 15 minutes flat! Best of all, it really did taste "restaurant quality" (finishing it off with more butter is really the trick there!). The sauce was so delish that my husband and I were looking for ways to soak it up after the chicken was gone. Only thing that was scary was butterflying the chicken breast...that's a kitchen accident waiting to happen. I really took my time there and have no emergency room story to share! Anyway, Giada thank you. PERFECT & YUMMY!

Love chicken piccata in restaraunts and never tried making it at home. This recipe is really easy and really good. One thing, I agree with another user, going to cut down on the oil and butter next time. And I used bottled lemon juice (all I had) and it was still good but I imagine it will be sooooo much better with fresh lemon juice!
