As good as I've ever eaten in a restaurant and very easy! My whole family enjoyed it. Easy and delicious meal for guests 12/29/2004 at 01:01pm User: ROSALIE from Darnestown, MD User Rating: This was a wonderful and easy recipe. My guests loved it and were very impressed thinking that it was a complicated gourmet meal. Very nice! 12/28/2005 at 07:27pm User: Alison from Lubbock, TX User Rating: This dish was fast and easy to prepare but tasted like it came from a fancy restaraunt. My whole family loved it! However, next time I will add less lemon juice and fewer capers, it was just a little sour. Excellent! 12/27/2007 at 04:10pm User: Joanne from Sacrametno, CA User Rating: I've made this recipe, and my husband always wants it again. Easy and very tasty. I good "company" dinner Delicious 12/26/2006 at 05:19pm User: Linda from Chattanooga, TN User Rating: Better than any I have had in the states or Carribean. Very easy to make. I use the chicken tenders instead of the chicken breasts. very lemony 12/26/2005 at 07:44pm User: Anonymous User Rating: We liked it but it was a little too much lemon. piccata 12/26/2004 at 01:49pm User: ERIN from St. Louis, MO User Rating: I thought it was very good, but my male roommates weren't as crazy about it. It was a very easy dish to prepare and I will make it again. Love it. 12/25/2005 at 08:58pm User: Janice from Marlton, NJ User Rating: I put a little less lemon in it because my husband doesn't like anything too lemony, but he loves this dish as do I and it's pretty simple to make which in a household of 5 is a must! Excellent 12/24/2006 at 10:16am User: Anonymous User Rating: I've tried several different chicken piccata recipes and my husband and I both agree this was the best so far. The only thing I did differently was add a little white wine to the sauce and some mushrooms. Will be making this again! Too Much! 12/23/2005 at 06:41pm User: Laura from Kennesaw, GA User Rating: The lemon and capers were just over powering. I would want much less lemon and I'd probably skip the capers. Delicious! 12/22/2004 at 10:36am User: SYLVIA from Downey, CA User Rating: This recipe was absolutely delicious. The chicken was tender, moist and very flavorful. I will definitely make it again and again. So delicious 12/21/2006 at 05:16am User: Anonymous User Rating: I make this once a week, it is so good! Great chicken picatta 12/21/2004 at 02:33pm User: Anonymous User Rating: This was exactly how i like my chicken! I love capers It just wasn't right 12/20/2005 at 04:47pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I live in the Italian section of Boston, so I love this dish. This turned out to be too tart with the lemons, and much too buttery, I even cut it in half. Too much lemon 12/20/2005 at 03:43pm User: Ann from Verona, WI User Rating: It was easy to make with ingredients kept on hand but next time I will go with less lemon juice, less oil or butter and probably use tenders. They were too big even with butterflying. The lemon overwhelmed the sauce and it was too oily. VERY easy 12/19/2006 at 10:14pm User: Chelsea from Norman, OK User Rating: This was so easy and good! I thought there was a little bit too much lemon, it made it sour. The juice from one lemon is enough. But other than that, it was very very VERY good. I will deffanitly make this again. Perfection 12/19/2004 at 10:00pm User: LAUREN from Staten Island, NY User Rating: This was quick and easy for a novice cook. It was delicious and full of flavor. The results made me feel like a pro. I will definitely be making this again and again. Gotta Love Lemon... 12/18/2007 at 10:15pm User: NOELLE from Madison, WI User Rating: I really enjoyed this recipe! I love capers and I love lemon (even though this was a bit much for me). I also used the suggestion of half the oil, half butter, and a teeny bit less lemon (although my boyfriend thought it could've been even less). I used chicken tenders as well. It was quite delicious, and I'll make it often with even less lemon. Easy and delicious 12/16/2004 at 08:41pm User: Anonymous User Rating: This was easy to prepare and is one of my favorite dishes to make!! Pretty good 12/14/2004 at 11:30am User: BETHANIE from Murrells Inlet, SC User Rating: This was my first Food Network recipe. It is very good! Not too difficult. The lemon taste is strongh but surprisingly pleasant. OK 12/14/2004 at 07:44am User: MELISSA from Fall River, MA User Rating: This was ok. I wasn't completely impressed. Not sure if was the capers or the lemon. Perfect Piccata!! 12/13/2004 at 03:19pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I have to agree with Bill from Macomb...after many tries, this one gets it just right! I also always add mushrooms to my Piccata, but this was so wonderful I'll cook it even if I don't have them on hand. Okay 12/13/2004 at 03:18pm User: KRISTIN from Irving, TX User Rating: I got the pan too hot and splattered my whole kitchen, but the chicken was just okay in our opinion. But it is a pretty simple recipe. Fabulous Recipe 12/13/2004 at 02:07pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I doubled this recipe last night to serve to company and still have some leftovers for today. It was simple to make using ingredients I already had except the capers. My company loved it so much, I had to print out a copy for them! Although I felt that I was using a lot of oil and butter the end result was not oily in any way, and the sauce really did thicken with that last addition of butter (which I almost forgot). Restaurant quality. 12/11/2005 at 09:59pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I just made this tonight and I am already gettting requests for me to make it again. This was so simple and easy - and with ingredients I always have on hand. I think it actually turned out better than some piccata dishes I have had in restaurants. Simply excellent. picatta 12/11/2004 at 10:57am User: MARGARET from El Paso, TX User Rating: wonerful. i was a little too generous with the salt, but other than that the recipe is perfect. served with pasta and added sauted mushrooms...mmmmm Outstanding! 12/10/2006 at 05:59pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Anyone can handle this easy recipe. Finally the Perfect Piccata 12/09/2004 at 02:44pm User: BILL from Macomb, MI User Rating: I made this dish last night in hopes of finally finding the perfect piccata. One that does not have too much lemon and mixes all the ingredients perfectly. Well, I found it. This is it and it was very easy too. Wonderful 12/08/2005 at 09:18pm User: Tom from Overland Park, KS User Rating: What a treat! It is very easy to make and it tastes great. I paired it up with roasted potatoes and spinach sauted with garlic. Wow, what a meal. Simple & delicious! 12/08/2005 at 08:58pm User: Adonica from Stone Mountain, GA User Rating: Chicken piccata is my favorite dish to order out. But thanks to Giada's simple recipe I'm now able to make it at home whenever I get a craving. It was just perfect and ready in minutes. I'll definitely keep this one as a weekday standby. Anything to get dinner on the table quickly is always a keeper! Thanks Giada, your recipes are as easy as you make them on your show. amazing 12/07/2007 at 12:35am User: Anonymous User Rating: this was an amazing dish! i made it for the first time for a party of ten and it was a hit! heavenly 12/07/2006 at 03:44pm User: james from phoenix, AZ User Rating: out of 10 piccata recipes I've cooked this is the most tasty. yum 12/07/2005 at 06:58pm User: Anonymous User Rating: this is very good and easy as pie. ha ha Wonderful! 12/07/2005 at 05:44pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I made this last night and it was so good! I was tempted to dredge in bread crumbs before cooking as I was afraid that just the flour would make for unintersting chicken. I'm so glad that I didn't. The chicken was just crisp enough on the outside and SO juicy and tender on the inside. Will definately cook again! Wow - good and easy! 12/07/2005 at 12:21am User: PEGGY from San Francisco, CA User Rating: I was at the gym today and saw this recipe (as an aside, did you ever notice how usually men are watching sports and women are watching the Food Network while working out? Says something about our motivation for being there...) Anyway, the hardest part about this recipe for me was thawing the chicken! I served it up with a spinach salad with champange dressing (from another Food recipe) and I was beside myself. I am surprised that anyone would give this less than a 5 star rating. So easy 12/06/2004 at 06:41pm User: NANCY from Fort Wayne, IN User Rating: Very quick and easy, but great taste. Very Tasty 12/05/2007 at 08:11pm User: Craig from San Angelo, TX User Rating: This was very easy to prepare and even easier to cook. Very tasty. My family has said that this is better than they've eaten in restaurants. It's so easy and tastes great. My sister doesn't like capers, and the recipe works fine without them. I usually try to double the amount of sauce with this, though, because it tastes perfect over angel hair pasta. This recipe is included in Giada's cookbook too, which I would also highly recommend. Yummy!!!! 12/05/2004 at 03:02pm User: BARBARA from San Bernardino, CA User Rating: I could eat this everyday. Now I dont have to go to a fancy restaurant for one of my favorites. I can prepare it at home and still get great results Ehrin, Illinois 12/03/2007 at 10:45pm User: Ehrin from Chicago, IL User Rating: Very tasty. I also added a splash or two of white wine. However, next time I will add less lemon as the flavor was a bit too strong for me. Will definitely make this dish again. Fabulous 12/03/2007 at 09:36pm User: Whitney from Salem, OR User Rating: Fast, simple, fresh, and oh-so-flavorful!! We cut this in half for just two of us, added a side of broccoli and lemon orzo, and had dinner on the table in 20 minutes. Perfect quick-fix meal for the pregnant working woman. Thanks Giada, and congratulations! Chicken Piccata 12/03/2006 at 05:49pm User: joann from tampa, FL User Rating: pretty good..not the edeals.com seal of approval but good. Quick & Delicious 12/03/2005 at 11:59am User: Anonymous User Rating: This recipe was quick, easy and absolutely delicious. It did not require many ingredients and most are already in the pantry. I was surprised that I could make a restaurant quality meal that was so easy. Everyone raved about this meal, even the meat and potatoe eaters. simple and delicious 12/02/2007 at 07:07pm User: Anonymous User Rating: This dish is incredibly easy to prepare and tastes wonderful. After reading other reviews first, I did reduce the amount of lemon used, but also added some white wine to the mix. It was fantastic. Next time to vary it, i may try some mushrooms and artichokes too. Chicken Piccata 12/02/2007 at 12:22pm User: Ann from norfolk, VA User Rating: I just toally loved this recipe. It was so easy to make however, I will use chicken tenders next time and pound them out to make them alittle thinner. My husband did request alittle more lemon juice so I increased it to 1/2 cup. yummy! Thanks Giada! It was better than any I have had in restaurants and had a very rich, natural taste! Simple too! Delicious & Easy 11/25/2004 at 05:08am User: Anonymous User Rating: This recipe definitely comes in handy for a university student like myself, who can't afford expensive foods or have the time to make a great meal. Amazing! Awesome recipe 11/23/2005 at 11:01am User: Mike from Bentonville, AR User Rating: My only change is that I used a little white wine to deglaze the pan, and then added the lemon juice. Adds just a bit more depth of flavor. The capers MAKE this dish -- they are so good with the sauce. I've made this both with and without dredging the chicken in flour, and I prefer the with flour method. Wonderful 11/23/2004 at 06:20pm User: Anonymous User Rating: This is a terrific recipe. I will make it for my next dinner party Best I've found yet 11/22/2007 at 11:07pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Chicken is moist and tender and full of buttery lemon flavor. I could have eaten all four pieces myself! Reminded me of my favorite Italian restaurant which is 300 miles from me. So I am happy. I even added some sundried tomato. Good, but made a few changes 11/05/2006 at 11:49pm User: Susan from American Fork, UT User Rating: This is my first time making anything piccata (how is that possible?), and I must say it is zesty and satisfying. My whole family loved it. I will defiantely make it again. However, I found once the wine and lemon had cooked down the sauce was really strong. I mellowed it out with some water, thickened it a bit and finished it will a touch fat-free half & half. Perfect! Plated on top of angel hair pasta and broccoli. Yum Surprisingly Delicious 11/03/2007 at 09:36pm User: Jill from Costa Mesa, CA User Rating: I saw this on an episode and requested that my boyfriend make this for a dinner. I came home, and the house smelled wonderful. But man, I can't begin to tell you how surprised at how good this turned out! I have tried a few of Giada's recipes and they have been hit or miss, but this one was by far, the best we have tried since. My boyfriend made no adjustments to the recipe at all, and I couldn't stop raving after each bite. one of my favorites on FN 11/02/2006 at 10:54pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I decided to alternate the flour with parmesan breadcrumbs it turned out fabulous. I would probably use just a little less lemon juice next time around. Other than that my husband really enjoyed this one and requested it on a weekly basis. Thank you Nancy delish 11/01/2005 at 03:23pm User: EDWIN from Paramus , NJ User Rating: Was awesome, entire party of 8 who dined with me couldn't stop talking about it. just like in the restaurant 10/31/2006 at 03:49pm User: Kim from Homewood, IL User Rating: This recipe was so good and simple! Awesome 10/27/2006 at 06:25pm User: heidi from mission viejo, CA User Rating: This meal was amazing. It tasted like a dish you would get at an italian restaurant. A big treat for my husband. However, I agree with most, about the lemon. Maybe too overpowering for some that are not into the lemony taste. will def make again! Can't miss with this one!! 10/25/2004 at 05:50am User: Anonymous User Rating: Everything you want in a meal - quick and tasty. A must try. Good, but too lemony! 10/24/2006 at 10:24am User: Diana from Reading, MA User Rating: I think this is a great recipe, but cut the lemon juice by at least half. It was too sour, even after I about tripled the chicken stock. But I will make it again, with more adjustments. Delicious dish 10/22/2007 at 12:02pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I have made other chicken piccata recipes and this was by far the best and easy to make. Good dinner! 10/17/2004 at 10:46am User: MARIA from New Baltimore, MI User Rating: Very quick and easy. Pair this with angel hair pasta or a mushroom pilaf. You have to like capers though! My whole family loved it and is a regular on our menu. Far better than any served at a restaurant! Very easy to make, fast and tasty 09/30/2006 at 02:51am User: Anonymous User Rating: My husband was on a low cholesterol diet for a while. He's finally lowered it, so I made him this easy recipe. Of course I substituted Smart Balance butter for cooking/frying and he loved it! I doctored it up a bit because he's also a vegetarian, so I used a meat substitute (prepared wheat gluten) in his meal. I also added mushrooms and fresh parsley, and used mushroom juice instead of chicken stock. Red beans and rice as a side. Tasty! We didn't like how much lemon flavor there was, and the capers were over powering. If I ever do end up making this again, I will not add as much lemon, and I will make sure my capers are WELL rinsed too!! Yeah, it was pizza night for us. Excellent Piccata! 08/24/2006 at 05:58pm User: Leslie from Old Hickory, TN User Rating: I cannot lie - I made this recipe from memory of the TV show and added roasted red peppers (MADE IT SIMPLY YUMMY). After I had bought the jarred peppers I looked up the recipe and found it had non -oh well, I had them I added them and it gave a sweet taste to the otherwise salty dish. Served this over Pasta and will definitely make this one again. GIADA ROCKS!!! Generally have her ingredients on hand or they are not hard to come by. A+++++++++ rating on this recipe! AMAZING 08/24/2006 at 05:42pm User: Anonymous User Rating: everyone loved it, I have to make this again So good! 08/24/2006 at 02:00pm User: Anonymous User Rating: This was so easy to make and almost the best thing i've ever eaten. I made it twice in one week! Add some rice to it and pour the sauce all over. Yummy!!! YUM! 08/24/2006 at 10:06am User: Michele from Silver Spring, MD User Rating: Okay, I totally LOVED this! First of all, I had lots of plain chicken breasts in the freezer and had no creative ways to use them up (I often just put Italian bread crumbs on them, bake them and call it a day!). This was perfect...simple, inexpensive and done in 15 minutes flat! Best of all, it really did taste "restaurant quality" (finishing it off with more butter is really the trick there!). The sauce was so delish that my husband and I were looking for ways to soak it up after the chicken was gone. Only thing that was scary was butterflying the chicken breast...that's a kitchen accident waiting to happen. I really took my time there and have no emergency room story to share! Anyway, Giada thank you. PERFECT & YUMMY! Love it! 08/23/2007 at 06:06pm User: Denise from Portal, GA User Rating: This is a recipe that is so simple to make. It is also one of those that will have your friends and family wanting more. The simplicity of this recipe was one of the things I loved....not to mention the actual food itself!
