these empanadas give a twist to bananas. the mixture of bananas and chocolate give this GREAT flavor and just the right amount of sweetness! cook on!

Okay, to start with, I LOVE anything with banana. I love empanadas. I like chocolate. So, really, how could I not love this? I served these recently with homemade cinnamon ice cream (thank you Bobby Flay!). My guests practically licked their plates! Make these!!!

If you are an empanada fan you must try these. Choclatey, but not too sweet! a little time consuming and messy to make, but this did not affect my rating!

This is the recipe for you. Save yourself time and use regular pie dough from the store. And always add more chocolate ;-)

I will definitely make these again, however, I will use the premade empanada dough in the freezer section- this dough was terrible to work with. I need to call Food 911 for one of their own recipes!

These are good, but a little difficult to make. You can't put too much filling in because it squeezes out when you fold the dough. But this dessert still tastes pretty good!

This recipe was horrible and created a very dry desert. It took over two hours to create and bake, but produced a terrible result. I would not ever consider making this again, and will try looking elsewhere for an empanada recipe.

I really liked the empanadas, just make sure you seal the empanada correctly and they will be even better.
